Worlds of Fun!!! by Angela B. at InsiderPages

I always love going to Worlds of Fun. They have great rides, a good variety of shows, and wonderful food. Tickets are kinda pricey, but if you stay all day long they pay for themselves.

Fun for the kids

by mommyc at Citysearch

not a great place to go with 3 little ones without help especially during busy hours. Lines can get long at times and food is overpriced. Make sure you have snacks for your little one if he is a picky eater and won't get fast food. I couldn't find anything healthy here to eat.

The Only Choice?

by hlmozart at Citysearch

I'm a kid at heart; I LOVE amusement parks. The problem with Worlds of Fun is that it's the only one! Because of that, I think the park has come to take itself for granted. The workers are seemingly unhappy and lethargic and it makes being there a less than comfortable experience. For children though, it doesn't matter. If you have children and live nearby, this is definitely the place to be. If you're an older kid (like me) consider a roadtrip elsewhere. Don't forget...parking isn't free!

  • Pros: Price, Good for kids
  • Cons: , Average for adults, Staff

Thrill-a-minute roller coaster rides and 200-foot free falls make this amusement park a daylong adrenaline rush.

by Contributor at Citysearch

Overview
It's just minutes away from downtown Kansas City, but location won't matter much once the MAMBA, Boomerang, Detonator, and ThunderHawk have their way with you. At the very least, they'll make you lose your sense of direction.

Features
The MAMBA is one of the tallest, longest and fastest roller coasters ever built. Jump aboard the Boomerang, a roller coaster that shoots riders through a succession of corkscrew turns and loops, then goes into reverse and retraces the track backwards. Younger thrill-seekers will enjoy Camp Snoopy, a one-acre family playland filled with exciting rides and attractions about everyone's favorite beagle and his pals - you can even meet the gang.

close to home

by kwyjibrago at Citysearch

it's the only amusement park close enough for a one day trip if you're in topeka, and it has original rides, not like chain parks. it was definitely at it's best in the 80s but it's still fun.

Worlds of adventure

Great place to spend a day. Always has ticket deals going on, so not too expensive. Best selection of rides out of any amusement park in the world. Fun stuff to do for people of all ages. Always fairly clean also, which is a lot to ask for in an amusement park!

What A Disappointment

by shelleya62 at Citysearch

Stax of Trax went from the best show in the park to the WORST show in the park. The music has basically all changed and what they did keep you can't recognize because the current cast just can't pull it off. It's just a shame!!!

  • Pros: Great Rides, Friendly Staff, Good Parking
  • Cons: No Comment Boxes, Poor Entertainment, Theaters not cool eno
