Very Disappointed

I love the cake there so I decided I wanted to buy an 8 inch round for my husband and I. Our 1 year anniversary is coming up. I was so excited to get one, so I went in and they said they could do a white cake for me. They asked if I wanted roses on the top and I explained to them that I did not. I just wanted a plain white cake with no decorations. I still had some left over ribbon from my wedding cake that I wanted to wrap around the bottom so, I asked them for to put no border on it either. They absolutely refused to sell me the cake that way. I wasn't wanting any discount or anything just a plain cake. How can they say they are custom cakes? Very disappointed.

Great Place just Recommened it to a friend for her special day!

I was looking for an affordable place for a theme cake and a friend told me about Nellie's. She said she gets all her cakes for special occasions from here and I am so glad I did. They did such a good job, more than I expected. The cake was the best looking cake I have had at a party and people went back for seconds. Since my party they have done 4 of my friends weddings and a bachelor party theme cake for a friend. Don't look any where else price, taste and all round presentation is all here at Nellie's.

Gorgeous wedding cake, delicious too

I ordered our wedding cake from Nellie's, after quite a bit of shopping around and tasting. Our custom cake was absolutely stunning--a four-tier cake with vertical white chocolate shavings lining the circumference of each layer. Not only was the look and price of the cake important to us, but the taste was very important, too. I have been to too many weddings where the cake should have been just for display--dry and tasteless. But Nellie's cake was perfectly moist, with that hind of almondine flavor that we were looking for in a wedding cake. We got many complements from our guests on our cake.

I also enjoyed a Nellie's cake at a baby shower. It was uniquely decorated and looked so hip, yet professional--not your basic pink and baby blue booties theme. I ordered a cowboy cake for another baby shower, and it got rave reviews.

Hole in the wall with great cakes and a lot of charm!

This little hole in the wall cake shop has some of the most delicious cake I've ever tasted. They were very flexible and willing to work with me on new ideas and decorating. I highly reccommend you go here for your child's next birthday party or bridal shower. They made the cake for my engagement party and it was fabulous! Also, it's very reasonably priced being that the overhead prices aren't like others in our area.
