Wife went here to get her nose pierced - and absolutely loved the experience. She said the guy who did it was extremely professional, polite, and told her everything she needed to know to take care of her piercing.

She then had a Jason tattoo a clover on her ankle. Looked great, until less than an hour later, her lower leg was swollen. A trip to the ER revealed that she had gotten a staph infection from the tattoo parlor...

I tried calling the shop the next day, and was basically told that my wife must've done something. I told them, no, she got the tattoo, came home, showed me, I noticed it looked a little red and swollen, and within the hour, her ankle and lower leg were swollen, resulting in the trip to the ER. The person who answered the phone said, "sorry dude", and hung up.

VERY unprofessional, and i'm telling everyone I know to not go here...

Workable

After going to several tattoo shops in town, and being turned down, Irezumi's took the time to work with me, rearranging my tattoo, getting me in as soon as possible, I found them VERY nice and workable. Not a bad price either!

I just got my nose pierced by Beth tonight at Irezumi. She was extremely friendly, made me feel comfortable because I was nervous, and was very fast during the actual piercing. The entire place was very clean, and the piercing room was exceptionally sterile. I really appreciated the friendly atmosphere at Irezumi and highly recommend it to anyone getting a piercing. Beth also talked to me about piercing care, and was very informative during the entire process. I really appreciated her attentiveness!!

Beth and Joe are the best in the biz! The only place I go!

I have been going to Irezumi on Wornall since 2003 and its the only place I've been to for my tats and piercings. I feel like I'm friends w/ everybody there. Its like going to "Cheers", where everybody knows your name! They do great work there, its all very clean and sanitary (even the bathroom), and everyone there is very knowledgable and will tell you straight out if what you want can be achieved w/o looking like... bad (the site bleeped sh*t AND po*p AND cr*p!).

Brian is my tat artist (the bestest!), Beth and Joe are my piercers - I have full trust in everyone there!

the only place i've been and ill go back every time

Irezumi is amazing.

the artist there are very helpful and informative. and not to mention very esy to talk to!

i'v been in to get gauges and they have told me exactly what to do to gauge successfully. so far i have had no problems and plan to go back to continue my stretching.

i have also gotten an industrial and my tragus pierced here.

they are very clean and will well inform you about your pierce. i wastold how it's done, how to take care of them, and the healing time. ha ha i was even given a pointer on how to hide one for work to make it less noticeable.

ill be goin back soon for more!

Extremely Professional, Clean, and High Quality

My girlfriend wanted to get her hood pierced while we were in Kansas City on vacation. So we browsed many search results from the Internet and reviews. We read that Irezumi Body Art was the best in town for piercings. So we decided to check them out. It's Saturday night and they were open until 11:00 PM down on Wornall street. We walked in, the shop was very neatly organized, and more importantly very clean. We were greeted by the artists as soon as we walked in, and we told them what we wanted. The girl doing the piercing, Beth, was very professional and had done many of these before. We went back into a private, well decorated, very sanitary room. She was very informative about the procedures and continued along with the piercing. It was PERFECT. My girlrfriend was so relieved that everything went as smooth as it did.

Very Friendly

Staff extremely personable and professional. I got my eyebrow pierced here about 6 years ago, and came back to get my navel pierced by Joe. Quick and no pain/discomfort after the initial piercing. Location was also very clean and prices were very reasonable.

They are awesome

I got my first tattoo when I was 19 years old and I have been addicted ever since. I have 8 tattoo's total and everyone of them have been done at Irezumi. I reccommend them to everyone I know and I have had several friends go there and leave highly pleased. I have never had to have a tattoo touched up either. The owner is extremely nice and the artists are amazing. I wouldnt get a tattoo anyplace else.

The Best

I just got a tattoo the day i turned 18 they were very polite and told me every step i watched the needles be disposed and put in and they are very talented i would recommend them to anyone who wants a good quality tattoo at a reasonable price for their work they were recommended to me by a good friend so i would like to share them with you.
