I was looking for someone to transform my long brown hair into a Victoria Beckham style short, blond cut. I also wanted someone that would support Locks of Love. On a whim I called New Creations Salon and they were so friendly and helpful with questions on the phone. So I was happy to schedule a cut and color. When I arrived I didn't have to wait at all, they hung my jacket for me and then offered me my choice of beverages. The atmosphere is so inviting and comfortable. The salon itself is so cute. Very open with colorful walls and fun pieces of furniture. Not your typical black/white cold salon. Heather seemed so excited about doing my hair; the whole time even though the process took two and a half hours. She made me comfortable the whole time. The transformation was dramatic! Everyone in the salon was interested in what she was doing. They all came over and introduced themselves. I brought in pictures of what I wanted and she was able to copy the style almost perfectly. She even offered to give me free styling lessons if I was having trouble maintaining the style. When I showed my hair to my friends and family everyone gave me the same response: You look like a Movie Star! Thanks Heather !!!

Great Overall Experience - Finally found my salon !

I travel with my job so I’ve had my hair done at many salons. I read the reviews on here and thought I’d check them out since they are literally 2 blocks away. Not only did they welcome me as a walk in, but I didn't wait long at all. I instantly fell in love with the warm neighborhood vibe, and friendly atmosphere that they have going on there. The conversations filled the room and was not only isolated between stylist and client, but it seemed as if from a scene in a movie, that everyone talked freely, and openly amongst each other as if we all were long time friends. Conversations varied from where's good to eat in the neighborhood, to thoughts on the long term effects of global warming. Truly an unexpected brightness to the not so bright day I was having.

Brittany is a not only a seasoned & amazingly talented stylist, but also a great listener, and worked with me through my lack of being able to describe what exactly I wanted to do with my hair. Together we put together what usually is usually impossible for me to have...... a great haircut.

I was no farther than 1 block away, before I got my first of many compliments on my hair, which only reassures me of my opinion. By far the best I’ve found. I truly enjoyed my salon experience; I’m excited for my color appointment in 2 weeks!

Great Salon

A coworker recommended this salon to me. I had gone to 2 places to get my highlights done and had not been happy with the results. I walked in and was greeted by friendly faces. I thought the salon was cozy feeling and super cute. To be honest I didn't really care, as long as I liked my hair. I had been referred to Lindsey, and I have to say I LOVE my hair for the first time in a LONG time! She listened to what I wanted, and helped make it happen. Not only does it look great, it feels better and is much easier for me to style. I will definitely recommend her to friends, and I will be going back. I hope this is helpful to others looking for a salon with good stylists.

I found my curly hair hero

Wow! This was not just a haircut but an experience that made me feel special and cared for. I have very difficult, curly, frizzy & big hair. I have never liked my hair. I esp. hate trying to find a stylist; I thought I just had bad hair. Brittany took the time to ask me lots of questions, my preferences & goals of course but also my lifestyle & habits. She wanted to find the perfect hairstyle for me. She is truly an artist with a passion for what she does, not easy to find these days! Everyone was so great from reception on, they made me feel comfortable and pampered. She took the time to show me how to dry and style my difficult hair! She even sent me home with free samples of products to try (which I love). Wow, I left feeling fantastic! This is the BEST hair experience ever from start to finish. I no longer feel my hair is difficult; I just needed to find Brittany. That night by boyfriend couldn’t stop telling my how great I looked. I feel so much more confident now; it has truly changed my life. I will never go anywhere else! Just a wonderful find!

Great Salon ! Amazing Cut & Color !

This is a perfect example of professional, talented, and friendly stylists who make you feel welcome as well as look great! I found the staff to be respectful and fun with each other as well as their clients. You can always tell when people love what they do, It was very apparent. Lindsay is a great stylist; she listened, asked many questions and gave me exactly what I wanted. Usually I’m pretty nervous when I go to a new salon, but I was completely relaxed & felt unusually confident I was in great hands during my appointment. Was I ever! I LOVE my hair. The cut is amazing and my color is gorgeous. The best part of all was that she showed my how to style it at home. My hair feels great (not dried out from color) and is so easy to work with. Lindsay was great and I can’t wait to go back. I have had SO many compliments on my hair.

Lindsey gave me an awesome color that I have been trying to get colorist to create for years. Plus she was able to give me some deminsion and a great cut that made my thinning hair look much fuller. I just looked them up online and went off of the reviews and was not disapointed with the service.

There was one part of the color that I didn't like after we were finished and she happily went back in and fixed it and washed and dryed me again! Now it's perfect!

I admit the atmosphere wasn't as 'posh' as some of the ladies on here said...I imagine those negative reviews were from ladies who would have been more comfortable at an older salon, but especially if you consider yourself young and hip the casual atmosphere won't bother you.

CON: price...for me it was a little high...$100 with a coupon for highlights and trim, but I realize that can be normal around here...and honestly...the result was worth it. They no longer honor that offer on their myspace for a free cut with color...FYI.

Amazing waxing experience

I had a great experience. Sandra gave a bikini & eyebrow wax. Odd to say I know, but it was impressive. It really was the most pain free and quick wax I've had. My brows (which are not the easiest to make look great) were perfect. I just moved into town and was recommended by a friend. This was an experience I cared to write about. Thank you.

If you're reading this, you are in the same position I was: searching for a stylist, not wanting another uninspired cut and not knowing where to go. Stop Searching, Call Brittany. I didn't know her or New Creations Salon other than they were close to me, but I read the reviews and decided to go for it: I couldn't be more happy. I was ready for a cut from long hair to short, and Brittany worked with me until I was completely comfortable with where we were going. AND I GOT THE BEST STYLE EVER! It's literally a style that you can get up in the morning, run your fingers through it, and go. Plus, it's an actual STYLE, not just a cut. I get so many compliments, and I feel great. . I have found my stylist, and I'm not looking back. Brittany, thank you, you're a dear.

Kasie Rocks -- Gave my daughter back her confidence!!!

I just took my 12 yr old daughter to New Creations to go from long curly hair to short, punky and messy. All I can say is WOW! I found this place on the internet and took a chance. The bldg/house is so adorable and cute and eclectic. Kasie is amazing.... 1000000% recommend this girl. She is adorable and knows just what she is doing.

My daughter was going through some rough times at school and Kasie gave her back her confidence with this haircut, so the experience is absolutely priceless.

Next haircut I get, I'm going back to Kasie!

Absolutely Fabulous Color,Cut, Service A+

New Creations is the best salon I have come across in a long time. Kasey is my colorist, and she is amazing. I trust her 100%! She always makes you look and feel your best. In the past: I have never been able to trust someone fully with my hair. The first time I let Kasey cut my hair was when I donated it for Locks of Love. We cut off more than 10 inches and I was a little nervous about the whole thing !! All I had to tell her was that I wanted a simple bob that could grow out easily. And the next thing I knew my hair was exactly like I pictured it in my head. She knew what worked with my face and was honest with what didn't. Since then she's also colored my hair, which was a first for me. I've had highlights in the past, but I had never had a full color and she knew exactly what color would work with my skin when I told her I wanted to go darker. I love her and the salon and always enjoy myself. The atmosphere is always so inviting, even on your first visit!

I love my haircut !

usually I dread going to a hair salon because I?ve never been one to put much effort or thought into my hairstyle, which, for some reason, seems to offend the hairstylists I?ve been to. In hopes of avoiding hair salons with snobbish attitudes I came to citysearch and found Lindsey at New Creations. I?m glad I did. She made me feel at ease about my hair and was not judgmental about my lack of hairstyling finesse. also, I have baby fine hair and she was able to make it look full of body and sass. This cut little salon was kind of like a salon version of Cheers-everyone seemed to know everyone's name and the clients were even very warm and inviting in conversation with each other. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and absolutely love my haircut!
