What a joke!

You always hear of quality Plaza dining and greatness of KC BBQ. This place is a terrible example. We were immediatly put at a table to then be moved (all 32 of us) to another section, where our reservations were supposed to be. Drink orders were taken 3 times, when finally brought were wrong or not brought at all. They even forgot one of the children's orders and instead of appologizing, claimed it wasn't their fault. The managed to throw straws and napkins over our heads to the table. Sloshed drink refills around. They even dumped an entire pitcher of water down the back of a gentleman next to us!!! The food was good, but not for the price. The service staff belongs in a truck stop rather than a supposed finer dining restaurant. They were incompetent, insulting, greatly lacking in customer service. We will not return, will not recommend.

Looking for some Serious contests

Getting straight to the point. I would like to challenge any of K C Masterpiece sauces to any of my sauces to a blind taste test. I Have won 1st place for the pass three years at the Taste of St Lucie. Design all my products from scratch. Will be contacting local press to help. Please pass it on.

BEST BBQ IN THE COUNTRY!!!

KC has the best bbq in the world. KC masterpiece restaurant is the best place to eat in KC if you are there. the service is great. be in KC around the first week of October. (October 4th, 2007) for the best BBQ you could ever have. The American Royal. so go to KC Masterpiece and you won't forget it. so good it will change the way you think, eat, sleep, and feel. ALSO HOME OF THE KANSAS CITY CHIEFS!!!! ( best fans ever!) GO CHIEFS!

KC Masterpiece Restaurant @ Country Club Plaza

This is no longer KC Masterpiece. This restaurant is Jack Stack which is also a BBQ restaurant. Jack Stack was amazing.

Plaza Location better than the burbs

Too bad they closed the Plaza location. We have eaten here many times. Our experieince at the Plaza location was much superior to the OP store. Sausage is the best. Ribs at the plaza were top notch, dry in OP. I would have highly recommended the Plaza, but since it is closed, only generally recommend OP location.

I brought coworkers from out of town (NC, OK, TX and FL) here and we had an excellent experience. Our waiter was not only attentive but very personable. He provided excellent recommendations and my team can't stop talking about the experience. The food was great, expecially the homemade chips. The team is planning another trip to KC and lists Masterpiece as a priority.

Its about Ribs baby!

I love me some ribs. I've had BBQ from California to North Carolina. I've tried some of the best. KC ranks right up there. Smokey flavor, well-balanced sauces, tender juicy meats. I had the Texas Spare Ribs with the spicy BBQ sauce - great stuff. I took a slab home with me. They warm up easy in the oven and maintain all their flavor. They rocked that night, the next day and the next day. Ample portions. Great place. You like BBQ? Try this place.

BEST IN THE COUNTRY

I live in Oklahoma and have had lots of BBQ but never found paradise until I tried KC. I went for vacation to Kansas City, Mo and we stoppped by the store there and I tried the ribs which were amazing. This was 2 years ago and I still dream of going back and I tell everyone they have the best dang BBQ. The atmosphere is great too, the bar area is cool, the bartenders are cool and the food is HOT!

hey! i tried some of the ribs that drluv had. (i live and work in L.A. too) they are the best. better than tony romas, call them and order some today. these folks know how to do it.

Amazing from four states away!

My girlfriend recently had several slabs of KC Masterpiece ribs shipped to her at work (we live in L.A.). When we got home, we popped the ribs in the oven, warmed up the beans, cracked open the sauce and enjoyed a truly fantastic meal.

We went to a real Tony Roma's location a few weeks ago but had a much better meal from KC Masterpiece and we had to order it from Kansas!

I envy those of you who can just drive to one whenever you want.
