Great Salon!

I've been to Last Tangle a few times and love the clean fresh look of the salon and reasonable prices. The owner Jenny Thomas is the nicest person. She's very willing to help you get the results that you are looking for. I've also used her new esthetician, Leslie Smith. She's given me relaxing facials and brow waxing. Enjoy a complimentary treat and drink while you are there too!

Great place to get eyebrows threaded

This was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded and the experience was nice, inexpensive and fast. I will never go anywhere else to get my eyebrows done and the process last a long time. It has been three weeks since I had them done and you can hardly even tell. I will never shave again!!! Thanks Darshita, you are the greatest.

ROSE at THE LAST TANGLE Salon is AWESOME

Whenever I visit Overland Park, KS, I go see Rose, my hair guru. ROSE at The Last Tangle Salon in Overland Park, KS gave my hair THE BEST COLOR that I have had in 25 years of getting color on my hair. I mean ... THE VERY BEST. The color is beautiful and the CUT is AWESOME. Rose listened to what I wanted. Her consultation really put me at ease. I like my hair long and she related to that and gave me the style and trim I needed, cutting the splits that needed to go but leaving the length and shaping the style and making my hair very easy to handle again.

Rose was attentive and her desire to do a good job was evident. From the first time I visited the Last Tangle salon, she put me at ease for a first visit. First visits are usually pure terror. Not with Rose. I felt very comfortable very fast and I really appreciated that. This is what makes visits to The Last Tangle so special. I love this salon and the entire staff is friendly and just a joy.

Rose is the stylist I want for my hair. In comparison to other stylists I have had in the past, I know Rose did the best job with my hair over everyone and that truly is 25 years of getting color put on my hair. I have RARELY liked my hair color and cut as much as I do today. After many compliments from friends and family, I know the color and cut are as good as I thought. What a wonderful experience!!

Thank you, Rose. I've been happy to find The Last Tangle salon and to find Rose. I remain one HAPPY CUSTOMER!!

A bit more than disappointing

I found this salon online and decided to make an appointment based on all of the good reviews. My sister was looking for a location to have her hair done for her wedding day plus 5 attendents. We met with the owner to discuss pricing. Apparently what they have online is incorrect. But they didn't have a price list with the correct pricing either. We were just told to expect a certain price and it could be a few dollars more. They wanted us to sign a contract but offered no discount for bringing in 6 people. She continued to make comments about how their website was out of date and that everything has been or will be changing. After the meeting I had an appointment to get my eyebrows threaded. We waited in the small lobby for 30 min before the stylist called my name. It took about 3 minutes to actually do it and the whole time the chair I was in kept inching back. It made me feel very uncomfortable. After she was done I wasn't offered a cloth or anything to wipe off the hairs that were all over my face and lashes. She did an ok job, but two days later I was already plucking hairs that she had missed. For $20 plus tip I expected more. We decided not to use them for the wedding day and I will not be going back for my eyebrows.

Treated Us Like Royalty

Jen & her staff created a custom 'Spa Package' of services just for our family reunion. We had seven ladies (all cousins) who were pampered and catered to for 3 glorious hours. This was definitely something I would do again.

I have never been more impressed with a Salon or a Stylist. Lisa did a wonderful job cutting and coloring my hair. The moment I walked into the door I knew this place had that something that you can't explain. I have found my Salon and Stylist. Lisa thank you so much.

Great Haircut...Thanks Irina!

Wow. My first great haircut in Overland Park. A+++++ Big thank you to Irina!

I've lived here almost 10 years and have gone to some of the nicer salons in the area, Mario T, Xiphium, Double Take and a few others. They are nice salons, but I don't walk out with the haircut I want, I leave with the haircut they THINK I need. I often feel rushed in and out of the chair as these salons strive to meet their quotas for the day. I finally decided to research some other salons and wound up calling the Last Tangle after reading the reviews here.

About Me: Late 30's, very thick hair, some damage due to coloring/processing.

I booked an appt with Irina after reading several reviews and brought her a magazine pic of what I wanted to achieve. We talked through the cut to make sure it would work with my hair type, lifestyle, etc. I am one of those visual people who prefers to bring a picture in. I have found other salons try to disuade me from referring to a pic (even though the cut is appropriate for my hair type) because the "artist" wants his own leeway. No thank you.

Irina did a wonderful job and really took her time to achieve exactly what I wanted! I can't say enough about her. My husband was also very impressed with my cut!

Irina is also gentle with your hair (I really dislike stylists who aren't aware of how hard they are pulling your hair while shampooing/styling).

The salon itself is clean and well organized. Everyone seems to get along well and it is a cheerful environment. The customers I saw were in their mid 30's and up. It is not stuffy or pretentious, and I didn't notice any attitudes/egos.

I'm really glad I found this place...it is so nice to have someone take such pride in giving you the hairstyle you really want.

Great Place in OP for a facial

You will feel relaxed and treated very special when you go to this salon. I always leave here relaxed and my face feels great. The bed is very cozy the staff is nice and courteous. I will always go there for my facials.

Fabulous Facials!

I highly recommend Katie Caffey at The Last Tangle for a wonderful facial! She is highly knowledgable and experienced and I fee like she truly listened to my concerns about my skin. I am looking forward to seeing her again next month!
