Shampagne is the best salon in Kansas City!

Shampagne has the best hairstylist in Kansas City, Kasie. Everytime Kasie does my hair, I feel so much better about myself. She gives me something that fits me, but is always a fresh, new look for me. She always makes you feel like you are her best friend when she is working with your hair. She is really great about listening to her clients and finding out what they really want and then making it happen. You can tell that she truly loves what she does and because of that, she does a great job every time. I have recommended her to all of my friends and family. Some of them have switched to her for good now after trying her out. She is the best!

Kristine is an amazing skincare and waxing professional. She waxed and tinted my eyebrows and they look awesome.

The salon is very welcoming. It's comfortable and they offer you drinks while you are there getting your hair done. Shampagne is a great salon! Go check it out and have Kasie do you hair and Kristine do your skincare/waxing. You won't be disappointed!

THE best bikini wax in KC!!!

I've tried alot of places for my bikini wax. I was happy with Satoraum until they closed suddenly last month. My wax girl, Megan had done a good job, but I was forced to find someone new. I decided to try Shampagne because it is close to my home. I had no idea how pleasant of an experience waxing could be! As odd as that sounds, it's true. Kristine was fast, she made me laugh, then it was over. Wow, and no awkward positions... this is the best bikini wax by far.

• Pros: Fast, Friendly, & Convenient
• Cons: Not open on Sundays

Hair Stylist to Dye For!!!

I followed my hair stylist, Nadeige to her new salon Shampagne (of course, I'd follow her anywhere). I don't like to get out of my Brookside neighborhood often, but she's worth the drive. No one else can keep my blonde highlights soft and not brassy. On my second visit, I got a bikini wax from Kristine. I love the fact that she uses a wax that doesn't feel real hot. I've been burned in the past. OUCH! She did a real nice job. The salon as a whole has a nice atmosphere. It's not uptight like alot of places I've been to. I'd definitely recommend checking them out.

• Pros: A stylist who knows her blondes.
• Cons: Bit of a wait on the bikini waxing, but hey it was spring break week.

Kristine is very knowledgeable and knows what she is doing. Not all skins are the same, and not all should be treated the same. She is worth it and a great personality as well. It is your face and skin, don't just let any body with no experiance mess with it.

Brow and Lash Perfection

Kristine Kay brings an artistic touch to waxing services. I could definitely tell from her attention to detail that she had experience in photo-makeup and photography. After working with her, I knew my brow wax was not just a "hair removal process". Kristine analyzed my face shape, and created my new brow shape by looking at them from every angle, making adjustments as she worked.

I asked her about eye last extensions, and she suggested since my lashes were already long, that I should have a lash perm every 6-8 weeks. This was considerably less than eye lash extensions. It took about 30 minutes, and really opened up my eyes and made the lashes more visible. I am glad that I found her because she brings a "fashion forward approach" which would normally require a visit to Los Angeles or New York.

• Pros: Her room is Great. She makes the most of her space showcasing her eclectic sense of style.

The only one I trust with my brows!

I have been with Christine for 4 years now and have followed her everywhere she has been. As a matter of fact, she flies in to California once per month to service her client base here. I have to drive 2 hours to get my brows done by her, but the drive once a month is definately worth it. I am an actor and not only do I need my brows to look good, they always have to look the same. Kristine is consistant, professional and incredibly sweet to boot! In addition to the brows, I'll admit I get the occasional facial and I couldn't be more satisfied with those either. The bottom line is that Kristine is great she listens to what you want and goes out of her way to give it to you. Go see her and find out for yourself! Thanks Kristine.

Kristine Kay is the best in Kansas City! I'm glad we have her!!!

I'm shocked that someone recommends NOT using Kristine Kay for their waxing needs! In other salons I've had my brows poorly shaped and badly burned - Kristine took great care and actually is very artistic in creating brows to frame your eyes to maximize your look. Her facials are extremely relaxing and beneficial to the skin. I have older skin and she seemed to know exactly what "potion" was needed. She is sensitive to when you need/want to talk and when you need to decompress and just enjoy. She does not push her products (I had to ask her about them). I HIGHLY recommend her! She has chosen the right profession for her particular gifts because she has all the skills to make going to her for any service addictive.

• Cons: salon not my favorite - loud

Do not get waxed by her if you want to walk out looking decent

I will never go back to Kristine Kay, all she talked about was LA and what she used to do. she had no personality. It is unfortunate that I didn't like her because she works with my stylist, who I love. it took me a month to get my eyebrows back to normal.

Best facial and brow wax in south KC metro!

Kristine is ahhhh-mazing. I always leave very relaxed and refreshed - even after a brow wax - because she takes her time and cares about how you look and feel before you leave. Such a proffessional, and never rushed. She also offers a few fun things you don't find in many run of KC salons to make you look your best - like lavish lash extensions and tinting. Superb quality products were used and she sells a few of the products but never pushes them on customers. I appreciate that she is an sweet gal, and a true entrepranuer, and her passion for her work is reflected in the service she provides. I'm lucky I live in the southern part of kc metro so it's very convinent for me.
