Never go back

My daughter and I go to this restaurant all the time and normally, we love it. She loves their salad and soup and the idea of taking off her shoes to dine. Our latest experience leaves us never wanting to return. I ordered steak and chicken. I was brought, steak and shrimp. I told our waitress and she told me THREE times, you ordered the shrimp - she refused to take it back to the kitchen. I was irritated, but did enjoy the steak and the rest of my meal. When it was time to bring the check, she ran my credit card, but added in her own gratuity of 25% - it was just me and my daughter. I think she was afraid I was not going to tip her, which I would never do, but I was so annoyed that she took the liberty to add in her own tip - we will NEVER return to this restaurant!

Great Japanese restaurant

We enjoyed this restaurant very much. We like to frequent Japanese restaurants. The service was good, the people are very friendly!! It has an excellent menu selection. I would highly recommend.

GREAT SUSHI

BECAUSE OF THE REVIEWS WE CHECKED THIS PLACE OUT AND IT WAS REALLY GREAT! THE RAINBOW ROLL WAS GREAT AND THE NIGRI WERE OF A GREAT SIZE. TREATED OURSELVES QUITE NICELY BC IT WAS A RARE OCCASION BUT WELL WORTH IT! THE WEATHER WAS COLD TODAY BUT THE BUILDING WAS SO COLD I COULDNT TAKE MY COAT OFF THAT WAS THE ONLY BAD THING.

THE WAITSTAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY ALSO!

A MUST TO TRY - WILL DEFINETLY BE BACK!

Far and Away the Best Sushi in the City

Came to this spot quite by accident on a Saturday afternoon. It's located in a quiet strip mall but it is an amazing find. The service is cordial and friendly but the best thing about this place is the sushi. We've eaten at practically EVERY sushi restaurant in the city... but the sushi here is incredible from its freshness to it's unique presentation. The sashimi choices are somewhat limited but nonetheless they are top notch (much better than the more trendy places in Leawood, the Plaza and Crown Center). As for the rolls, there are so many choices and the portions are awesome. There are plenty of cooked items. too. While the prices are up there, it's well worth it considering you'd pay about the same at the other places but the food there isn't half as amazing. We haven't tried the teppanyaki dinners because we're more into sushi... but maybe one day we'll give it a try. All in all, I highly recommend this place to any sushi lover.

Best Japanese Food ANYWHERE

This Place is awesome, i love the way tehy cook in front of u, and i love the sushi!. I have been there like 8 times, the prices may be steep, but the food is AMAzing!
