The buffet at the Ameristar restaurant is fabulous. They have a huge variety of foods from Mexican to Italian to Southern cooking. They have a wonderful desert bar with a chocolate fountain as well.

One of the best italian places to dine in Kansas City!

Everything was phenomenal! You start by being quickly seated and presented with water, warm bread fresh from the oven with dipping oil, and chilled olives stuffed with almonds, red peppers, and garlic cloves. The server was promptly to our table with recommendations and to take our drink orders. I ordered the scallops (I must say some of the best I have ever had!) and he got the lobster ravioli, which he enjoyed very much as well. My scallops were perfectly sauteed and served with a linguini with a white wine butter reduction sauce, impeccable! Our server recommended the grilled caesar salad, yes, I said grilled! The flavor was amazing! The tiramisu for dessert was equally delightful, and obviously not frozen! The ambiance was wonderful, the fireplace beautiful, all in all a great experience! We will definitely recommend it to even the toughest food critic!

best night ever

my husband i just came from a fantastic dinner and night on the town, where the real treat was a our visit to Bugatti's. This is truly one of the best restaurants in KC, great atmosphere and our wonderful server, Billy helped to truly make this a great experience. Don't miss out!

Bugatti's & Food

This place was brought to my attention by the great article in The Pitch. Bugatti's is an attractive restaurant with deep colors of red, paintings of the original Bugatti Italian race cars and the Classic "Rat Pack" style music. They also have a cafe which mimicks an outdoor setting, but is beautiful year round, for it is really indoors. Out there you can get the dinner menu or choose from a lighter menu. They take walk-ins on Fridays & Saturdays, but the trick is to get there befor 6:30 to avoid the rush! This is a great spot for the single business travelers, too. There is a horseshoe shaped bar with two flat screen televisions and a bar staff with personality. Great prices.
