One-Time CleaningsOne-time cleanings include move-ins & move-outs, spring-cleaning, service prior to a big event & other non-recurring services. All one-time services can be estimated. If additional time is needed, a maidpro representative will attempt to contact you while our staff is in your home. If you authorize additional time, our staff will continue to clean & your price will be adjusted accordingly. We will not use additional time without your prior approval.
Our 24-Hour GuaranteeIf you are not completely satisfied w/ your cleaning, simply inform your local maidpro office within 24 hours of your service & we will happily re-clean the area w/ which you are dissatisfied.

Are You Bonded & Insured?Our insurance is the best available. We're not just bonded, but we also have liability, crime & employee accident coverage. Your home, our service providers & maidpro are included in the coverage. Insurance validation certificates are available upon request.
What if Something in My Home Gets Broken?Maidpro realizes the nature of cleaning requires our staff to touch virtually all items within one's home or office. If any damage/loss does occur, simply notify maidpro w/ 48 hours of the cleaning date. Please refer to our breakage & loss policy for additional information.
How Do You Access My Home?Maidpro must be able to access your home to provide services. There are three choices:
Most Maidpro Customers Leave a Key to Their Home at Our Office, & We Take Extreme Measures to Protect Each Key. Your Key Will Be Kept Safe & Secure in Our Key Safe & Coded for Security.
If It Is Not Possible to Leave a Key w/ Maidpro, You May Meet the Service Provider at Your Residence. Please Refer to Our Cancellation Policy Should Maidpro Be Unable to Access Your Home.
If Neither of the Above Is Possible, Please Make Alternate Arrangements w/ Your Local Maidpro Office.
By Far, the Most Efficient & Problem-Free Way for Everyone Is for You to Give Us a Key. That Way You Don't Have to Wait Around to Meet the Service Providers.
If I Give You My Keys, How Are They Protected?Your key is coded as soon as it enters the office. It will be stored in a locked key storage box to which only maidpro management has access. The day of your scheduled cleaning, your key is matched to your job ticket. Upon returning to the office, the service provider returns all keys to management who then places them back into the secured storage box.
How Many People Will Clean My Home?Our teams vary from office to office & job to job. Generally, our service providers work in teams of one or two. Sometimes we have teams of three or more. When more than one person is at the job, the quoted time -- which was given in labor hours -- is lessened by the number of people. For example, if you were scheduled for a two-hour service & two service providers are assigned to your job, the cleaning should be completed in one hour or two labor-hours.
Will I Always Have the Same Service Provider?We make every effort to send the same service provider(s) each time. Occasionally there may be a change in service providers due to illness, day off, vacation or they may no longer work for maidpro. Therefore, it is not possible for us to guarantee the same individual/team for each cleaning. In the event of such an occurrence, maidpro will find a replacement. Maidpro provides an extensive training program to each of our employees to ensure consistent cleaning techniques throughout our staff.
Are Service Providers Trained & Supervised?All service providers attend "maidpro university" prior to entering your home. Maidpro university includes orientation to our company, a session on cleaning, cleaning videotapes, situation role-play, & a session on driving. Employees are then assigned to trainers who supervise them on their first several cleanings. After a formal review w/ the trainer & management, the service provider is then assigned to a team.
How Do I Pay for Your Services?Maidpro gladly accepts the following forms of payment: mastercard/visa, cash or check. Payment is due at the time of service. One-time cleanings require a credit card payment. For your convenience, a credit card number may be left on file w/ maidpro to use in the event you should forget to leave your payment at the time of the cleaning. Otherwise, a $10.00 non-payment fee will be incurred. A $25.00 fee is applied to all returned checks. If you use a credit card, your account will be charged the balance due, plus any fees, after each cleaning.
What Is the Cost of My Cleaning?Fees are based on the size & condition of your home. When you receive the initial estimate, it is just that -- an estimate. Once the service providers enter your home for the first time, they should have a better sense of exactly how long the cleaning should take. As soon as they become aware of a discrepancy between the estimate & actual time needed, they immediately contact maidpro management who will try to contact you to discuss the difference. Very often, first-time cleans or one-time cleanings may require additional time & an additional fee. If this is the case, you will be contacted by management prior to authorizing the service providers to spend more time in the home.
Should I Tip the Service Providers?If you are pleased w/ the work done in your home we encourage you to show your appreciation to your service provider. Although not required, a gratuity is a powerful way to say "i appreciate your work. " Even a note from you, simply saying "thanks for a job well done" means a great deal.
What Is the Cancellation Policy?If it is necessary to cancel/skip your regular cleaning day, maidpro merely requires a 2 business day notice. If maidpro receives less than a 2 business day notice, or can't access your home, it will be necessary for us to charge the full price of your cleaning. Future scheduled cleanings will remain unchanged. Please be sure to submit in writing any termination of regularly scheduled cleanings. Do not inform the service providers of any changes to your schedule -- it must be done directly w/ the management of your local office. Note that recurring service is priced at a discounted rate. Should you choose to cancel recurring service after only one cleaning, please note that our regular one-time cleaning charges apply.
What if My Cleaning Falls on Holiday?If your scheduled cleaning falls on a holiday maidpro observes, we will be sure to contact you to reschedule your cleaning.
How Do I Provide Feedback on My Cleanings?Since cleaning is a very personalized & subjective service, we leave a comment card after each cleaning for your feedback. In addition, you may call your local office directly, or even visit this website to let us know how things went -- good or bad. We encourage you to take the time to complete & return (postage is pre-paid) the comment card or send us an email. This feedback is essential to serve you better, to correct any problems & to praise those service providers who meet & exceed maidpro's expectations.
Can I Hire Your Service Provider Directly?By entering into a service agreement w/ maidpro, you agree not to hire a present or past maidpro staff member introduced to you by maidpro for any home-related service. If you do wish to employ such a staff member, our referral fee is $2,500.
Keys & Alarm SystemsMost maidpro customers leave a key to their home at our office, & we take extreme measures to protect each key. We assign every customer key a security code & store it in a key safe. No identifying information is ever put on any key. Also for your safety, we do not return keys by mail. Customers must come in person to the maidpro office & present a picture id before a key will be released. If you have an alarm system at your home & it is simple to operate, you can give instructions on its operation to your maidpro office. However, if your alarm system is complicated, we prefer that your alarm be left off on the day of the cleaning. Please refer to our breakage & loss policy for additional information
EmployeesOur employees are very important to us, & we are very serious about keeping them safe, so they do not use ladders or move anything heavier than 35 lbs. These types of activities put our employees in danger of back injury or could even damage your flooring. If you would like us to clean behind appliances like a refrigerator, oven or sofa, please move it prior to the cleaning to allow access to the desired area.
BleachWe will not bring bleach into a home to use as a cleaning product. If you request us to use bleach supplied in your home, please be aware that we will not be responsible for any damage caused by your bleach.
CancellationIf it is necessary to cancel/skip any scheduled cleaning day, please notify maidpro 2 business days before the scheduled day. That will allow us to reassign the service provider or team to another appointment. If maidpro receives less than 2 business days' notice, or can't access your home, it will be necessary for us to charge the full price of your cleaning. To ensure that all your needs are addressed, please correspond all requests & changes directly to your maidpro office manager. Please do not communicate these important details w/ service providers. If for some reason you wish to terminate your maidpro services, please be sure to submit this in writing to your local maidpro office.
Arrival NoticeIf you wish to wait for your provider to give them access into your home, please realize that we can give arrival windows of about 4 hours, such as 9 am -1:00 pm or 11am - 3:00 pm. Many things can affect our schedules, such as cancellations, lockouts or customers adding services. We want to save you time, not make you waste it waiting for us to arrive. Leaving a key at the maidpro office is the most efficient way for you to provide your service provider access to your home.
Payments and Refunds
PaymentsFor your convenience, maidpro gladly accepts the following forms of payment: mastercard/visa, cash or check. Customers will need to pay for their cleaning at the time of service. RefundsSince cleaning is a very personalized & subjective service, we cannot offer refunds to customers. However, we want you to be 100% satisfied w/ maidpro. Please see our 24-hour guarantee if you are dissatisfied w/ your cleaning. There are no refunds for gift certificate purchases.
TippingMaidpro never requires tipping, but it is a powerful way to say thank you to your service provider. Remember your appreciation need not be monetary. A personal note from you expressing your appreciation for their service can mean a great deal.
Referral FeeShould you wish to hire a present or past maidpro staff member for any home-related service outside of your agreement w/ maidpro, our referral fee is $2,500. This fee is due within 30 days of notification from maidpro. If the fee is not paid, maidpro reserves the right to pursue other methods of collection.

Items Excluded From Liability Are; Cash, Jewelry, One-of-a-Kind Items or Hard to Get Items; Items of Sentimental Value, Art, Antiques & Electronics.
Key Replacement / Locksmith Fees Are Paid Only if Keys Are Lost or Miscoded. There Is a $50 Per Location Liability Limit.
