tastey. I have been going to the corner cafe for many years. In fact, when it was a converted gas station. The pork tenderloin is so big it covers the entire plate. The bisquits and gravy are a risk I'm always willing to take... despite my doctors orders. In fact, when we have family staying over we have a tradition of ordering out the bisquits and gravy for breakfast grand style at home.

clean and quick seating. We were seated quickly, took awhile for the waitress, but coffee and juice was quick, they kept the coffee cup full. I am used to more hashbrowns (they could of been cooked alittle longer). With the amount of customers in and out, I could see how the hashbrown turnover could be a problem. The coffee was very good, just right, not too strong or weak, had a good taste and hot. I can only compare the food to a place in Grinnell, Ia (West Side Diner) price and qty.

Good Family Cooking. If you're looking for good food at a reasonable price, I would highly recommend this establishment. The waitersses are friendly, the food is always good, and the menu is very diverse for the picky eater. Be prepared to wait for a little while if you walk-in. Just have a hot cinamon roll while you wait. You'll forget about the time you're waiting.

North to Nirvana. Corner Cafe is the best breakfast in town...by far. Even the expansion to a larger building (built next door) does not diminish the atmosphere. I highly recommend!

Riverside area. After reading the different reviews, I am wondering if we are all talking about the same place. I think this review is for the Riverside Corner cafe. The food is always excellent and LARGE portions! Yes you may have to wait to be seated and some of the servers are a little slow but they have came along way baby! Check out the counter in the back, you can get seated there qucker. They use to be alot smaller but have grown and are still growing. They have just added more seating. Good food is worth the wait. Mom doesn't cook a meal in 5 minutes why should they???
