Justin was called out to repair our double oven. It was built in type, so required quite a bit of work, but he was so knowledgeable and really was quite fast also. He provided excellent service to us and really appreciate him fixing it for us. Was very nice, courteous, and prompt. He called us twice before he came and arrived promptly or when he said he would come and got it fixed very fast for as much work as required. We had never used Able before, but will surely call them back for other services we need done. Highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you for sending someone very efficient and nice. We had contacted Able Appliance Repair as an alternate to our previous service company for dishwasher service. We had a 7 year old Bosch dishwasher and our previous service company required us to bring the dishwasher to them for service instead of in-home service. We found that to be overly cumbersome and called around. I was intrigued by the $9.95 service call and thought surely there was a "catch" to that. I contacted Able and at first was told that they don't service Bosch dishwashers, but then they remembered they had one technician who could service them. They sent Justin out to our home and he had diagnosed the problem over the phone based on our description. Unfortunately it ended up being more involved and an additional part had to be ordered. The part was delivered and Justin came to install it. The dishwasher ran beautifully for about 4 times, then the same problem returned. We contacted Able and they happily sent Justin out again who was able to determine that the dishwasher motor was delivering too much amperage and had damaged the new part that had been installed. He said it was cost-prohibitive to replace the motor and recommended replacing the dishwasher. We were disappointed to have to replace it, but we're extremely pleased with Justin's professionalism and ability to provide sound advice. Able Appliance refunded our money, including labor fees, which was about 50% the cost of our new Bosch. It is difficult to find a service company that provides great service to the appliance as well as the customer. We will definitely call Able Appliance in the future and request Justin.
Unfortunately things do go wrong that are out of our hands! We want our customers to be 100% satisfied with our work and recommendations. If your not happy, we are not happy! Thank you for your time in leaving a review and for your business!

I called able when my refrigerator wasn't cooling, they were such a blessing. The girl in the office was nice and got me in ASAP! John came out and did a wonderful job. He was very professional and diagnosed the problem very quickly! He also had the part to fix it right on the truck! Thank you able appliance for all of your help and for your fair and honest pricing!

NEGATIVE RATING. TERRIBLE SERVICE, TOOK $270 AND DIDN T EVEN IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM AND NOW SAYS ANOTHER PART IS GONE, AND NEED $600 MORE ON GE WASHER!!!! GAVE ONE YEAR WARRANTY AND DIDN T EVEN LAST FOR TWO MORE LOADS.
EITHER INCOMPETENT TECHNICIAN OR UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES.
When my GE Washer which is of 5 years old was giving huge noise, I called Able Appliance looking at $9.95 visit fee. And the technician came within hours and he told us that the drain pump has gone bad. And he told us that he already has the pump with him, and it would cost $270 to replace it, if we take a decision right then and there. He also said he can give one year warranty and told us that nothing else is wrong with the machine, cuz it s only 5 year old.
We trusted him and paid $270 right on the spot. Right from the next load after that, we did not notice any noise reduction..may be 5 to 10% but not more than that. Added to that, we also started noticing the water wasn t going away.
And we called them back. The technician came back and now he told us that bearings are gone and it will cost $600 for that. I was shocked and how could you not tell when the big ones like bearings are gone, very first time. How come you tell me now.. He then told us that, we didn t repair these kind of machines before, this is a brand new model. What?!! Then why did you not tell his before? Anyway the argument continued, and I asked him what are my options here. He said the money I spent $270 is gone and the only option is to spend another $600 on bearings.
We hardly put 10loads after he replaced drain pump. And we wanted to call right after the first load, but decided to wait for few more loads thinking that may be the problem will subside.
I got the RAW DEAL from ABLE APPLIANCE REPAIR. Now I have to buy a new machine and I still lost $270 bucks. This is extremely unfair, and unethical business practice. I did not expect this from Able. Either the technician is incompetent or they stole my money. Unbelievable.
UPDATE from Kumar- Then I approached Able Management and owner Vicky is amazingly professional in dealing with me. She said she will issue a full refund of original $270 because the problem seems to be different. Nice.I did get my $270 back long ago and I thank the owner Vicky. I wish I didn't have to go through this, but Ms Vicky handled it professionally in the end. In case it is required, it would be prudent to take your requests to Ms Vicky as you will certainly get help. Thanks
This company stole parts off my refrigerator and has done nothing but lie about it since. Don't call them! Horrible. All these ratings on these sites are given by their own employees. Think about it, what company really has this good of ratings!

Able Appliance charged this customer a total of $9.95, we also replaced his bad part that kept his refrigerator from working with a new part because our technician threw his bad part in the garbage. He now has a working refrigerator that he did not have when he called us! P.S It is our position at Able that this customer has been more than compensated for the mistake of throwing a bad part in the garbage! We only collected $9.95
I was a little skeptical at first using this company because I just moved here and new to the area means finding new companies. My icemachine seems to work very nicely now, working with them has been very nice n pleasant.
