Best Childrens dentist EVER!!!. Two years ago we moved to Missouri from Indianapolis IN so I wasn't totally familiar with the area so I had just randomly picked a dentist office to take My (now 6 year old) daughter, she had had really bad experience with her first ever dentist so we never went back and I began searching for another dentist who was actually good with kids and I had stumbled upon Spencer & Spencer and I am super glad I did. Jacey was so at ease with Dr Jodie and they quickly became "friends." She loves going to the dentist now, not just because of the colorful kid friendly atmosphere, which I have to say I LOVE going to also, but because everyone in the office is so friendly and really seem to care about their patients. Dr Jodie, is WONDERFUL!!! ...So when it was time for my 11 year old to get his teeth cleaned of course I looked no further than Spencer & Spencer! I NEVER thought I'd ever hear the words "When is my next dentist appointment?" from my 11 year old son who hasn't EVER liked the dentist. BUT when we found Spencer and Spencer he loved going there!! Dr. Jodie, Dr Glynn, and the whole team there are so wonderful, kind and caring!! Now he wants to be a dentist when he gets done with school...he says!! LOL!! Best Decision Ever for My Family!. We just started going to Spencer and spencer in lee's summit!! It's one of the easiest and best choices I have made for my kids! They BEG to go and when we have an actual appt. The kids are so excited!! Along with the kids I personally enjoy the staff and the sense of security they make me feel. Amazing Dentists and Office. After having a horrible experience at another pediatric dentist, we waited an entire year before looking for a new dentist for my two kids. I recieved a flyer in the mail, so i figured i would call and get a feel for the office. Paula answered and provided me with in depth answers to all my questions and if she didn't know the answer, she promptly found out. She was friendly and knowledgeable. We scheduled an appointment for the next week, so I would have time to prepare my daughter for the visit. I let her look at the website and see what the office looked like. She was most excited about the play area, of course. The day for her appointment came, and my daughter was very scared. When we got to the office, all her fears were forgotten. She loved everybody. The nurses helping with her x-rays were so friendly and got the x-rays that were needed without an arguement or fight from my daughter. They explained each step and let her ask questions before they did anything. Dr. Jodie saw both my kids first and then Dr. Glynn came and took a look. They both knew, as did I, it was bad enough for being put under at the St. Luke's Surgicenter. They explained each step that they would take to both myself and my daughter. I walked to the front expecting a huge bill (for the same procedures in the first office we went to, the bill totalled more than $1000 after our insurance). They gave me a treatment plan that was less than $150. It was amazing. Paula checked us out and again explained everything and asked if I had any questions. After the procedures at St. Luke's, Dr. Glynn and Jodie both came to talk to us and tell us what they found with her teeth. We had a followup appointment a few weeks later, and everything was terrific. When we went back for her six-month cleaning, she had absolutely no cavities. The best part was that she was excited to go see the nurses and Dr. Glynn and Jodie. She had no fears and was thrilled to be going back. After having bad teeth as a kid myself, I am so grateful we were able to find such an amazing office to take care of our children's teeth, so they hopefully do not have to deal with the same troubles I had to with mine.
