Hotels >Red Roof Inn Kansas City Overland Park
DO NOT STAY HERE. This is the WORST hotel I've ever stayed in. They recently changed ownership and are now a Days Inn. There was a dead roach on the floor, a strange white powder on the carpet, a pillow was stained with what looked like blood, the TV did not work, and the ice machine was broken. It was clear that the hotel was not fully-occupied, but still, they would not switch my room. I slept on top of clothes because I was scared to touch the sheets. I was insulted that the manager offered me compensation of 50% off my next stay with them...I would never dream of staying in this awful hotel again. They give Days Inn a terrible name.
The hotel's quirky little mascot--a bobble head named Red--stands for all the comforts of home at a budget-friendly price..
The tiled red-roofed inn has been a mainstay for travelers in search of value and relaxation since 1973. Standard rooms boast cable TV, coffee makers and unlimited local telephone calls. Additional property features include free USA Today in the lobby on weekdays and photocopy and fax services for a modest charge. Deluxe rooms have the added conveniences of a small microwave and refrigerator. Families may request cribs and rollaway beds at no charge.
