I live about 3 blocks from this place and it took me 4 years to finally eat there. (No special reason). We were seated promply and close to the bar. Chubby little waitress was pleasant and polite. Food was terrible, 2 of the plates were spaghetti with meat sauce. The meat sauce was scorched and had, I'm sure, left-over meat mixed in with it, Chunks of sausage that tasted OLD. Spaghetti was watered down. Portions were oversized and no-one bothered to asked to bag the leftovers. I can only guess where this meat went.

Food is really good. Been going there since 1998. Big portions. Good food. "Italian butter" is really good. Call ahead if you want to eat lunch there to make sure they are open. Very full on prom nights, etc. Service quicker if you are seated upstairs instead of downstairs.
Pros: Great food, great portions, normally great service
Cons: salad and icecream deserts arent as good as a few years ago
