Today I took my twins to see Dr. Beard
for some simple infections inquiries. We waited for 25 minutes before being taken to the room. And from there we waited for another 30 minutes before the doctor showed up. At that time, I already dressed my twins up since they have been waiting for the doctor for 30 minutes nakedly. The twins got very fussy. We were at the door and the doctor showed up and told us we will STILL be charged if we leave.
I understand that sometimes doctors can be busy. But why our appointment can be canceled for being late for 20-minute (I called on the way), but nobody even pay us any attention when we wait for the doctor for one hour??!!
Isn't our time as precious as the doctor’s? Not to mention we are the customers who pay $300 for a total of 6-minute visit.
I love this practice. My eldest daughter is Autistic and they have done a wonderful job with her. Dr. Bays is the best. I really recommend this place for anyone. Also on Halloween they have trick or treat for the kids. Patsy loved it. They are also great with my infant daughter. They were a great help while I was breastfeeding and learning how to be a new mom again. I have had a good time with billing and the staff. I have never had any problems with them at all. They are always polite and willing to help.
I have been taking my child to Pediatric Care North for almost a year and have decided that we can do a lot better. I agree with the folks that received rude and condescending attitudes from the staff, especially the front desk and billing and insurance. No one should be treated with disrespect and I encountered that from SOMEONE with every visit. We are concerned parents. We should not be treated as though we are below any of them. The billing department is especially rude and obviously trained to lack virtue. Very disappointing.
I take both of my boys here and have excellent service every time. We generally always see Dr. Kubart, but have also had great encounters with several other doctors when she was not available. The lactation specialists are very knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile to assist you when going through the trials and tribulations of breastfeeding. This is also where my OB takes his children. I think it says a lot when physicians recommend a specialist and is also going there with their own children. I recommend PCN to all my friends!
Expensive and RUDE. Dr. Beard is a great pediatrician, however the front office is very rude. They didn't want to see me for my lactation visit because I didn't bring my insurance card with m even though they had it on file. They are very expensive! I've been going there since my son was born. He is 4 months and when he got his shots he ran a high fever and didn't want to eat. I called the office trying to speak to a nurse because he wouldn't stop crying. They told me they'd have to take a message and call me back. It takes hours to recieve a call back from that office. I am now switching pediatric groups because of this. I DO NOT recommend them to anyone! I wish Dr. Beard worked at a different location. She is the only one I'll miss.
Lack of Care. Dr. Beard is excellent, but you can never get in to see her personally. Everyone else shows lack of knowledge, care, and professionalism. Very quick to blame everything on daycare or viruses with little exploration into what might be the real problem. We switched after the first year to Priority Care Pediatrics and are very pleased with the level of service provided there.
Great Group of Pediatricians.... I take all 3 of my children to PCN. The doctors and staff are amazing. I would recommend them to anyone who wants great doctors for their children
Horrible Doctors. I took my son to this office for six months, before I finally realized they are not going to do anything for him. He got a cold at the beginning of August, which progressed into a cough, then he started pulling on one ear, then the other. Every time a new symptom arrived, I took him to Pediatric Care North, where I was told he was fine, perfectly healthy except for a cold, and to give him fluids. This ended up being 10 doctors visits, at $20 a piece. So yesterday, 2 months after the cold started, I took him to a different doctor, where I found out that he has a sinus infection, double ear infections, and bronchitis. I think that I am justified in saying that this is a horrible group of doctors (we saw them all) and I will never take my child back there.
