Great dresses Great service. I had an excellent experience at the Bridal Mansion. I had my heart set on a Maggie Sottero dress and they had one on clearance that was just perfect! The ladies were extremely helpful and really gave me one on one individualized attenion. They really made me feel special! I would definately recommend them to any bride looking for that special dress. I had previously checked other places like Davids Bridal, I hated most of the dresses and I felt like a number. Buying a wedding dress is supposed to be something special and I feel like I got the experience I was looking for at the Bridal Mansion. I recommend making an appt though so they have time just for you!…

Pretty Good. My overall experience with the Bridal mansion was good. The sales representatives were always sweet and very helpful. I initially chose this shop over other shops that carried Maggie Sottero because of the exceptional service over the phone.

My only complaint would be the alterations lady, she was rude and the cost just to hem my dress was 250.00! I didn't need anything but a 1/2 inch hem! I couldn't believe it when I got the bill!

They also measured my hubby for his tux even though he didn't buy his tux there, which was nice but ended up writing one of the numbers wrong. She wrote down he had a 37 inch waist when his waist is really 32, glad we noticed it before we ordered our tuxes!

The dress selection is magnificent, the bridesmaid dress selection is perfect and they also have a variety of sale dresses for Mother of the Bride or Groom. There were also many spectacular deals on clearance dresses. If I didn't have my heart set ona Maggie Sottero I could have found a great dress for bargain.…

Wish I bought my gown elsewhere!. I recently got married and purchased my dress from the bridal mansion. I awkwardly looked through gowns in huge plastic covers by myself for a good 15 minutes before someone came to help me choose what I wanted. I found what I liked, but during fittings the seamstress was irritable and ungracious. I asked her to add material under the skirt to make it more full, and she laughed and harshly disagreed with me. She also harshly disagreed with others things. My mother and mother-in-law ended up having to re-do all the alterations she had done the day before the wedding.…

Worst Sales Experience ever!! Do not go there!!. First off my wife ordered a veil and the owner didn't order it in time to get it in. We didn't find out till two weeks before the wedding! We had put in the order 6 months in advance, but they didn't order it then because they wanted to save money on shipping! We even prepaid for 1/2 the price of the vial to make sure it would be there. They said they were not going to be able to get it in time. So my wife then had to search throughout the city to find another one. They also charged us an extra rental fee for her slip because it was not returned by the Monday after our wedding (we were on our honeymoon)! The thing is that they do not put a return date for the slip on the contract! The owner said that she gave us a break on the alterations, but if she did it was a small one and they ended up charging us for alterations that they are now saying they did not. On top of this none of the alterations where done correctly! My wife's shoulder straps would not stay up. One of the bridesmaids had a needle still stuck in her dress and a strap that they adjusted broke within five minutes of having the dress on! Brides-to-be, beware of the Bridal Mansion on Bannister Road, Kansas City MO.

p.s. they said that they would not wave the fee because one of the bridesmaids was rude to them, so they just called a woman who was 8 months pregnant rude. No they are the ones who are rude and will almost ruin a wedding day not help to make it be magical.…
