With over 200 acres and hundreds of animals, this is the 10th largest zoo in the country. Wear a good pair of walking shoes and plan on spending the day. The zoo is broken up into regions with natural settings where zebra and giraffe roam the same grounds. Of course, it's not that natural: prey and predators are always separate.

Features
The Africa and Australia sections of the zoo make it possible to witness an entire herd of elephants bathing or a troop of chimpanzees playing together. Farmland USA and International Festival gives children hands-on opportunities with domesticated animals from around the world including sheep, donkeys and pigs. At the zoo's entrance, the Sprint IMAX Theatre transports moviegoers to other worlds with its six-and-a-half-story screen and surround sound.
