Step Out In Style Fashion Show at Smugglers' Inn. We went to Smugglers' Inn a couple of months ago and we could not believe how relaxing and comfortable the Club was. It was a mixture of mid to older adults that seemed to truly be enjoying two stepping to mind pleasing music by DJ Fresh.

The facility was beautiful and spaceous, the food and service was good so we asked the Owner if we could hold our upcoming fashion show at Smugglers. They agreed.

So we would like to invite everyone to come out to Smugglers' Inn to our "Step Out In Style" Fashion Show on Friday, September 16th, 2011 from 7pm to 10pm. Tickets are $10.00 per person, for advance ticket information call Steppin Out Fashion Boutique (4203 E. 50th Terrace, Shops on Blue Parkway, KC MO, 64130) at (913) 871-9748, Glenda Jordan at (816) 223-4500, Luree Designs at (816) 797-0570, Sherri Tabron at (816)863-4434 or Yolanda Turner at (816)361-4936.

We will have both Female and Male models of all sizes, so regardless of your style we are sure that you see something to your liking as our Models "Rip The Runway".

If you have never been to Smugglers' Inn for a relaxing evening out, you are truly in for an enchanting evening (food and beverages not included in Fashion Show ticket price).

So mark your calenders, join us as we "Step Out In Style" at Smugglers' Inn.

See you September 16th, 2011

delicious and fun. We went in and were the only customers on a Friday night. There was only one waitress, but she was friendly and helpful all night long. The salad bar was a little disappointing, but the food we ordered was great. We had swordfish, prime rib, and blackened chicken and they all tasted wonderful. We also had white champagne cake for dessert that was delicious. We learned from the waitress they are currently remodeling (evident by a few paint spots around), that before the casinos came in they were much more busy, and she also explained the late night Latino theme bar/dancing they offer.

Our food was very good, and despite such slow business everything was very fresh except the lettuce, the prices are reasonable (they dropped them last year according to the waitress), and the atmosphere is nice. It's only sad that they don't get MORE business! (However, we kept joking that it felt like we rented the place out for free!)

I recommend it, absolutely.

Past does not equal present. This place used to be a top favorite for me. I loved the prime rib and it had a salad bar too. The waitresses were really nice. They have coupons so it didn't cost alot. The last few times have really let me down. The place needs a remodel and the people just aren't nice anymore. About two weeks ago on a Sunday I went there. The waitress kept telling the other people they aren't usually open on Sundays, yet the coupons states Sunday hours. She was the only waitress and got our order wrong, after checking twice as though she forgot. The veggies in the bar were not good quality and the prime rib was 50% fat. The catsup was watered down and tasted nasty. She said I could keep the coupon and reuse it. I said we don't come here that often and I wanted to say we won't be back. This is sad because I loved this place and when I had a little extra money I would treat myself and now that dream is gone. Now I will go to some big corporation owned restaurant instead of supporting our local businesses.

Unique atmosphere - good food & service. My wife and I ate here at the end of January, 2008. The one waitress on duty did a good job and was fun to talk with. The salad bar was limited but very fresh and clean. My prime rib was bigger than the 16 oz I ordered - and good. My wife's seafood pasta was spicy (like the waitress said) but very good. The atmosphere is a little different. Kind of like you went back in time. The restaurant hasn't changed since I took my prom date there 25 years ago. We'll go back.

what a joke!. my fiance's parents tried to have their 35th anniversary here and it was a disaster. everything that could've gone wrong did. food was bad (cold), late. service was dispicable.

it used to be their favorite and special ocassion restaurant, but they have not been back ever since.

we've tried it a couple times before this incident and it wasn't that great either.
