Extra Grease 25c. I used to go to Hayes Hamburgers with my dad when I was a kid. I remember a sign on the wall that said Chilli 75c extra grease 25c. I doubt the sign is still there but you can be assured of getting a great meal at Hayes.

I have "never" had a bad meal at this northland hamburger mecca.

I have been frequenting this establishment since I can remember.

OUR PLACE. Hayes is my boyfriend's and my hamburger "joint" of choice. The burgers (his with grilled onions, mine without ) are tasty, the fries are great.... and the service, well, plan on sitting on a stool at the counter so you can see the "show". This is a real old-fashioned "diner" in the very best sense. A feeling of "community" permeates here. I've watched teenagers give up their booths to an elderly couple, if you sit at the counter plan on passing food on to a booth patron. In our house this is the way I get my boyfriend up and moving on the weekends..."Honey, how about we go to Hayes for lunch?" Try it. You won't be disappointed.

GRILLED ONIONS,PLEASE!. GOOD,OLD-FASHIONED HAMBURGERS AT THEIR FINEST! WATCH THE COOK SLAP ON THE HANDFUL OF THINLY SLICED,SWEET,WHITE ONION AND TOP IT WITH A 100%GROUND BEEF PATTY. IT'S HARD TO BEAT!

goog old fashioned hamburger. A hamburger should be thick and juicy ( a little bit greasy to) and that is what Hayes delivers.
