REVIEWSS FOR CLEVENGERS DETECTOR SALES. I bought my first detector at Clevengers Detectors about ten years ago and the experience I must say was a good one.Every question came with an honest answer.I have bought two more detectors their since then and have recomended friends of wich who have bought detectors there as well. one thing is for sure you wont get a run a round like you do from other phone order places that will try to sell you the highest price thing they have.you will get the machine that fits you best and you can go their and actually look at and handle every machine in the shop till you are satisfied with what you want. Thanks for the great service!

Friendly and helpful. My first and only visit to Clevenger Metal Detector Sales turned out great. I stopped in to purchase a quality metal detector to replace an outdated unit, and was unfamiliar with the current technology available. The staff took the time to demo several machines for me, and thoroughly answered several questions I had. I ended up spending nearly $800 thanks to the courteous service I received. I highly recommend Clevenger Metal Detector Sales.

Excellent Customer Focus and Knowledge. A friend of mine who treasure hunts referred me here when I was interested in buying a metal detector. Since I knew very little about the different brands and features, I was very pleasantly surprised to visit this store!

Mr. Clevenger is an absolute wealth of knowledge about his products, and listened to our interests before recommending a product. He then took the time to show us all about two machines we picked out, with pros and cons of each, giving a demonstration in the store. He patiently and knowledgably answered many questions from us newbie enthusiasts. When we returned to the store the next day after talking it over, to make our purchase, he made sure we had everything we needed, and urged us to call with any questions.

We are so happy to have found such great personal service right here in Kansas City!

Great Customer Service. My wife lost her wedding ring in our landscaping. We rented a metal detector from Clevenger to try to find it.

Mr. Clevenger stayed open late on Thursday night so that we could get it that night. He walked us through all the bells and whistles to make sure we understood everything, rather than just taking the money and shooing us out the door. That would have been enough to write this review, but there's more.

On Saturday, Mr. Clevenger called to ask if we'd had any luck and to let us know that he was closed on Sunday. Very nice of him. When we returned the metal detector on Monday, we still hadn't found the ring.

Mr. Clevenger refused to charge us for Sunday, since we would not have been able to return it. My mother-in-law was so impressed by his generosity, that she bought a detector from him on the spot.

That's old school marketing; giving people great customer service. Besides, it's a cool little shop, with collectibles and coins, etc. Check it out if you're in the Gladstone area.

Highly recommend!. Over the last decade, I have purchased three metal detectors and several accessories from Clevenger's. Very impressed with their personal product and technology knowlege. They work really hard to give the customer what they need at unbeatable prices. When a pair of headphones arrived damaged in shipping, they promptly sent another set free of charge. Additionally, Mr. Clevenger himself has been great about answering any questions I have, even years after detector purchase, and recommending solutions. This business has an excellent reputation for low prices, product and industry knowledge, and working hard to please the customer, and this reputation is well-deserved.

Great Dealer!. I have used Clevenger for a few detector and accessory purchases.

I have always had a great experience, and feel like Clevenger has gone above and beyond in providing great customer service.

I use a Tesoro Sand Shark, And Clevenger has gone above and beyond on several occasions, to find coils that are so hard to get right now. When I had a problem with a faulty coil, Clevenger was right there to make the situation right.

Great company and great service!

Racist!!!!!. Racist.Simply horrible.I am a Caucasian male who purchased a Garrett metal detector from this place a month or so ago.It has sense developed issues and i wanted to ask some questions about if it was a sign that i might need to send it in to Garrett to get repaired.Behold i was instantly accused of conjuring up a story for my detector.He (The owner) got offended at the question of if it is failing or not.I only simply replied "(With all due respect sir i do not make up story's)" Then he said that's not what he meant.( i believe it was exactly what he meant)Shortly after i made my way out the door And i was greeted with a goodbye by the racist old man that said "You should work on your lingo" I couldn't believe it!I said "excuse me?"As if i didn't hear him crystal clear.He the said have a nice day.I have perfect hearing being of age 33 and there was no question of what was said although a second time would have warranted a civil suit.He said this clearly due to the fact i have a little soul in the way i speak.

This is unacceptable!In my personal opinion racism is clearly a hate problem.Those who do not have hate in their heart could not be racist.It's nothing more than built up hatred for anything one can muster.

Save the time and trouble go to cabella's or bass pro If you don't want to give a racist you money.I am ashamed to be around someone who cannot clearly know right from wrong.

So much hate he hates on his own brother who has some youth("youth being the new age of non racist") in his voice.
