big lots in general. Thanks for the heads up Just Rude. We have them out in RI and they seem to be much nicer. I was concidering shoppping out there since i was relocating. I think after reading your review I would rather just pay the extra few bucks. Sounds like its not worth the aggravation.
I walked in with a planter pot I had purchased earlier in the month. The cashier at the line immediately by the entrance asked if she could help me and I said I have a return. She said sharply, do you have a receipt, and I said, no I cannot find it. She immediatley started yelling (I was about 6 feet away, having just walked in the door), "no no returns, no refunds, no exchanges, no credits. No!" I said OK, I am going to take this back to my car.
My sister went to ask the manager what the store return policy was and he printed a store receipt with the return policy on the bottom. While she was speaking with the manger, the same cashier was yelling that there were no returns and she already said no.
My only complaint is being treated so rudely. I don't like being yelled at from across the store as soon as I walk in and I don't appreciate it when a store employee can't be patient while I speak with the manager about my issue. If she didn't do anything wrong, why wouldn't she give me her name?
I won't ever return to this store, I have never seen such unprofessional behavior and an employee acting in such a child-like manner.
