Remarkable Treasure. We often come to Kansas City (from Wichita). If we get nothing more done than paying respectful homage to the best Chinese Restaurant we have ever experienced and some minor shopping, we call it a day well lived. We have been patronizing PGR since the early 90s when I attended Devry Institute.

Lunches are especially value laden as they are moderately priced but ever so exquisite (virtually no matter what you order). We consistently end the meal with their excellent choice of Plum Wine which always seems to fold into the savory effects of the meal like it was designed especially for this experience. OMG!

We will never tire of this superb dining experience and will always head NE when we can no longer resist.

Yum!. We've been eating at Princess Garden for several years now, and our dining experience just seems to get better and better! I have to confess though, we don't eat the typical Chinese menu dishes...we ask the chef to prepare whatever he fells like making that night, and we have never been disappointed. Of course, we always enjoy the water dumplings (Mama Chang's house specialty) with the special garlic/soy dipping sauce, or the four color dumplings...when you're lucky enough to find them.

I never miss the opportunity to have any and all of our large parties at Princess Garden. They will create a menu for you or you can work with them on personalized choices. Many of our friends aren't quite as adventurous as we are, yet they are always amazed by the food and the service. Large parties and catered events are one of their strengths. During the summer months, you're bound to run into one of the many weddings dinners that occupy most of the restaurant. You might even get a slice of coconut wedding cake...

The staff is always attentive and once you get to know them, spending an evening there is just as entertaining as the food is delicious.

Head on over, this family run restaurant will have you coming back for more....love, love, love it!

Amazing food. When I ate the food at Princess Gardens, I felt like Jesus came down from the heavens and touched my taste buds. Just kidding, but really it was amazing. I had the Spiced Chicken Szechwan Style. It was soooo good and the staff was very kind. Everything was cooked to perfection and the price was reasonable. Dumplings are to die for. Overall an amazing place to eat! Check it out!

Good food, consisent quality. We have ordered take out from Princess Garden numerous times as well as eaten in the restaurant. The food is consistently very tasty, served in traditional Chinese style at the table, and the staff are all friendly and efficient.

I recommend it!

GREAT PLACE. the Place as a whole was very nice. Food was good so was the service. I LOVE crab rangu. Good place to eat with friends or for a date.

Chinese Fortune. When I walked in the door, I knew I was in for a treat. Great atmophere and everyone LOOKED friendly. Once I sat down i peaked over my shoulder and peered into the kitchen. When I saw was a man beating a little boy with a peeking duck. I was scared for my life so i decided to leave and never come back. But overall, the place was nice and friendly.

best Chinese in Kansas city. if you can overlook the dim and dated decor, this food is excellent. A burst of flavor in every dish we tried. The Chinese chicken salad is sublime. Service was very attentive and friendly. A must visit!
