WOW! What a difference from all the others!.
We had an excellent experience from the time we drove up and were greeted out of our car, to the end of the sale. The entire staff from the lady that installed our car seat all the way up to the general manager were nothing short of professional and courteous.
After searching for several weeks to find a specific pre-owned car we thought we had found the perfect one in Oklahoma City. We were assured by the sales manager at the dealership that the car was in pristine condition. We took our 3 children, including our infant daughter, and drove 5 hours to go pick it up only to find that they had not been honest with us. How disappointing!
After that we spoke to someone at Superior Lexus and they told us that not only could they find us the car that we wanted but they would have it shipped here for us! WOW, what a difference!! We LOVE our new car.
Thank you for everything that you have done for us, and for such a great experience. We truly value being a part of the Lexus family but more importantly the Superior family.
Terrible experience - don't believe the Superior Lexus hype.
This has been the absolute worst possible car buying experience.
Imagine a scenario where you purchase a vehicle and two weeks later hear the dealer state that the vehicle model has known transmission issues, you're not the "first customer to complain", there has even been a class action law suit against Lexus for this issue, but it can't be fixed and you'll have to live with it.
That's exactly what happened to me!. I purchased a used ES330 in November and have had it back to the dealer three times. If you search Yahoo for "Lexus Transmission Issues" or "ES330 transmission issues", you'll probably be as surprised as I was to find out the significance of the issue and the lack of response from Lexus to recognize and fix the issue.
I purchased this vehicle, a used ES330, from Superior Lexus South in November. I've had it back at the dealership several times, but am no closer to resolving the issue. I've started through the Lexus dispute process, but am not optimistic.
The specific issue relates to delays in acceleration at low speeds. When you are traveling at roughly 10 to 15 mph and go to accelerate, the engine RPMs jump way up (as high as 4000 RPMs) but the car does not accelerate. About two seconds later the transmission engages and the car lunges forward. The car is virtually undriveable in slow driving conditions such as rush hour traffic. Further, this is a dangerous issue. I was recently making a left turn across oncoming traffic into a parking lot. As I went to turn, the engine shot up to 3500 RPMs, but the vehicle was still slowing down. By the time the transmission engaged, the on coming traffic was way too close for comfort.
I've heard so many conflicting statements from this dealer that I don't know who or what to believe. The dealer states that the transmission is operating normally. Yet I've now driven two other ES330's that don't have this issue. What a mess!
