NO GO. I was interested in buying a 2008 Toyota Prius at Molle and my experience with them was very disappointing.

I understand the gas prices are high, but they used it as an excuse to overinflate their asking price. Pete (my salesman) was only willing to negotiate $1500.00 off their sticker price of $24K. Really? Let's not forget that it's still a 4 (almost 5) year old car with a soon-to-be expired warranty.

I was practically a cash-buying customer. When I said that I wanted to keep my car payment less than $200/mo, Pete laughed at me as if that were impossible. Hmm-mmm... $10,000 was my down payment to be exact and I have a credit score of almost 800. It was very doable.

I walked away without the car I wanted and Pete let me go without getting an easy sell. I was a very motivated buyer, but NOT in the market to be taken advantage of. He didn't even try to follow up when they got new deliveries in. Apparently, I must not have looked the part of someone who could afford it.

I gave Molle one star because they did have a good selection, but I took my business elsewhere.

My New Car Buying Experience In Kansas City, Mo.. Have any of you lived in one state and bought a car in another? Apparently, in Missouri, the car dealerships do not have to disclose that our car taxes will be paid when we register the vehicle in Kansas. We thought the taxes were included in our financing. So we really paid 2,0000 more for the car. On top of that, we do not have $2000 to register the car....Hmmm, too bad we cannot take our crappy salesman's (and finance person) nice little commission for not saying anything. DO NOT TRUST MOLLE TOYOTA in Kansas City, Mo. This was our third Toyota too.... I do not plan on buying anything in Missouri ever again, anytime soon....feeling ripped off.....

thumbs up. Was very happy with them bought a 2007 Rav 4 couple of years ago, at the time felt I got a good deal on trade in and new car, always hard to tell with sales people but was happy, since then I've had 1 major issue with the car but they totaly took care of it and seemed to work hard to make me happy, I wouldnt waste my time if I hadnt been impresssed by it. I would recomend them I had a good experience
