I searched around for an apartment for my daughter and found that Ellis had cute, safe, and affordable places in the 39th street area. I was very happy with everyone and although the buildings were older they were perfect for our budget. I would definitely recommend.

decent people/sweet apartments. My girlfriend found these guys through a waitress on the plaza. We both work on the plaza and moved into a cool old apartment building off 39th street. The girlfriend loves the hardwoods and balcony and I like that they haven't raised our rent in 3yrs! I recommend them to anyone--maintenance gets things done fast especially emergencies--I've seen Mellisa be a hard ass but she is always nice to us and if you need to be late with rent she's cool as hell. Most important we have a pit and they are super clear that as long as you are a good owner they don't restrict on breed.

Love the staff & reasonable apartments!. We had lovely interaction with the office and staff at Ellis Real Estate. It is true that you have to call several times to speak to someone but when you go to the office you realize it's because there's only two office workers. The apartments we saw had lots of character and were really priced perfectly in comparison with some over priced others we saw in town. We are glad we stuck with Ellis REal Estate because everything we've needed done has been done in a fair amount of time considering their size. Give them a chance and you won't be disappointed.

Very unprofessional. Apparently having great credit, rental history, and the financial means to rent a property from Ellis Real Estate is not enough to actually rent a property from them. Getting them to meet with you to show you a property is a challenge. When you finally get an appointment set up they come at the wrong time and refuse to come back at the time that was agreed upon, nor will anyone else come show it to you, they just tell you you have to reschedule. Don't expect an apology from them for being incompetent either. When you do call back to reschedule because of their mistake they say they will call you back as soon as possible to make sure that time will work but this isn't the truth. They will not call back. We were ready to sign a lease with Ellis Real Estate but their terrible customer service and unreliabilty changed our minds quickly.
