In Short – Burnished brass and stained wood complement roughly mortared brick and the occasional plant. Amid ubiquitous earth tones, corporate types and small parties (celebrating or simply living large) occupy deep booths done up in fine upholstery and lit from above by pin spotlights. Burgers, prime rib and steaks are the specialties of the house, but the menu also includes salmon, salads, pork chops and roasted chicken.
Fantastic steak and potato meals with great service.

This is a great place to sit down and enjoy American food at its best. Nice middle-age crowd (but sometimes families bring the rug-rats and that is a downer, so don't go prior to 7pm). The plaza is fantastic and this is a great place to finish the day of shopping.
PS. The user MrnMrsRowe... they blow(e)... *snicker* :p
- Pros: Great steak (and believe it or not, fantastic ribs)
- Cons: Kids are taken there prior to 7pm for dinner sometimes... :(
Always a nice time

In reference to the previous review, Houston's is not a bar. It has a bar, but it's definitely not a bar. The dining room has subdued lighting in the evening, and never seems loud, even when the place is full. The comfy booths seem private, which makes this a nice spot for dinner with your significant other. The menu, while not too diverse, is fairly solid, and the steaks are great. Service was a bit lacking during my last visit but is generally above average.
- Pros: Nice ambience in dining room
- Cons: Long waits if you don't make reservations
