Busy..busy. Although the Cheesecake Factory is a destination location on the famous Country Club Plaza, its a very busy place....and its two story design is VERY loud. Portions are big enough to share on most dishes, and plan on spending plenty if ordering cheesecake that is simply decadant. The Cobb salad is the best on KC, but the chicken and biscuits is better than what Grandma used to make.
Best Cheesecake. The best cheesecake in the world with the most choices anywhere.
Loud Crowd. I have made several trips to the Cheesecake Factory and I still cannot figure out why so many people choose it as one of the best KC date restaurants. The food is good, but the restaurant has been terribly crowded and loud on each of my trips there. I suppose two people could get to know eachother well waiting the hour and a half to two hours to be seated...
Love everything about it!. Good location, good food, and a great place for a date or the family!
Poor. This is number 2 as far as romantic?? Every time I have been there it has been a nightmare--noisy and poor service..I would rate this almost as low as going to sonic for romance...
For the mighty appetite!. Food is absoluteley fantastic and portion sizes amazingly large. You will not leave here hungry. More than likely you will leave with a shopping sack full of delectable leftovers from your meal and the cheesecake is an absolute must!
englishmans opinion. Great food - great area on the Plaza - had to wait ages before table became vacant - but that is an excellent sign
CHEEZY. QUANTITY NOT QUALITY WAS PRESENTED. HOSTESS WAS RUDE, SERIVE MEDIOCRE AT BEST.
Romantic? I think not! : ). The food is all right, but the desserts are wonderful. I have to say that there is absolutely nothing romantic about this restaurant. My husband would hear about it if he took me here for a "romantic" dinner. : ) If you are looking for romance, go somewhere else. If you are looking to gorge on sweets, go here!
Good food, theme park atmosphere. While I enjoy some of the menu items at the Cheesecake Factory, there is absolutely nothing romantic about waiting two hours for a table in a restaurant that operates more like a theme park than a fine dining establishment. The voters in the romantic restaurant category must have all been tourists to pick Skies and the Cheesecake Factory as number 1 and 2. There are much more romantic restaurants in town (Raphael, Grille on Broadway, Le Fou Frog, etc.)
