Good Stylist. My first experience at Hair was late on a Thursday evening, probably like most. I walked by earlier that week to see if I could get an appointment. They squeezed me in and Robert cut my hair. He gave me tips and pointers and always pays attention to detail. The only negative remark would be his overflowing personal life into individual customer time. He has stopped cutting or coloring to take a personal phone call or check email or myspace. I do appreciate his networking, but I don't want to pay him to network during my appointment. Other than that, I do think his work is quite precise and he can read a persons vague comments on style and create the perfect 'look'.

Fantabulous Experience. My first experience at Hair was late on a Thursday evening...I was driving by, saw the lights on and thought I would pop in to see if I could get an appointment. They squeezed me in and Robert cut my hair. He was lovely and conversational and he did a great job. He gave me tips and pointers and always manages since then to squeeze me in! I have also had him color my hair and experiement with different cuts, and he is always great. I have never been to anywhere else there but I highly recommend him! Plus they have this GREAT hairspray-Osis...amazing!

Poor customer service. My experience started off negative right from the start. I showed up three mintues late due the the lack of parking availability (this was totally unacceptable per the reaction of the receptionist). My stylist lacked confidence, experience & personality. During check-out, the same charming receptionist asked me if I would like to include a tip. She looked at me like I was stupid & said, "Well?" I told her to include $3 for a tip, which obviously didn't cut it. She said, "$3? Your total was $35." I said, "Yes you heard right." What I really wanted to say was forget it, no tip! I was completely offended my the treatment of the receptionist. Besides the staff, the salon & its services were average. I would not return to Hair because obviously the staff does not value its customers or treat them with respect or courtesy.

There Is Only One Hair & It Is The BEST!. Hair is the best salon in Kansas City. Talented people who know their craft! Clark launched this business many years ago and remained true to his vision every since.

User review by teach23. I visited Hair wanting to have my color corrected. I had no idea what to expect, since my hair was 3 different colors. Not only did my color turn out amazing by i got a cut that i absolutly love. I never new my hair could look like this! The atmosphere was great and every one was really helpful and friendly. I'm recomending this place to everyone i know!!!!! :)

After 14 years, it's the best. I've been going to Hair since I first moved to Kansas City 14 years ago. I love it! Not only does the staff remember me every time, this is the only place where I feel comfortable walking in and when I say do whatever, I can trust them!
