I rented from Sederson for a year and have no complaints! When I had a problem they would come out in a fair amount of time to get the job fixed...with previous landlords I am used to having to call a few times to fix a major problem, that was a nice change. I would rent from then again in the future for sure. Plus I received my full deposit.

Sederson, Thanks for the four am effort to clean my drive...I did not expect you to return this afternoon!

Your workers were so polite and attended quickly to something missed(not their fault).

Also, the first day of really cold weather my furnace was off when I arrived home in the evening. Your man was here in less than forty-five minutes. I was embarrassed as it was only dead batteries in the thingy on the wall. The service man was polite, professional and didn't make me feel like an idiot for not figuring out the problem myself.

Not a moment of regret for selling my house and renting.

P.S. You rent to the best people, I love all my neighbors.

Sederson Management Company is one of the best property companies I have leased from. I have rented a house from them for the past seven years. Late October/early November this past year, Sederson repainted the outside of the house, put up new shutters, put new trim around the garage door, the white picket fence in front of the house cleaned/painted, and had new modern windows put in. I think the house looks amazing - an excellent job! The windows are very easy to clean, the outside of the windows can be cleaned from the inside of the house by releasing the latches and pulling the top of the window inward. New plantings will be placed outside in front of the large picture window when the weather permits. Every Fall they clean out the gutters and replace the furnace filter. The few times I have called for assistance, they returned my call very timely. They are very respectful and call me ahead of time if they need to enter the home. I would definitely recommend Sederson to a friend.

WORSE MANAGMENT CO IN KC. This company is AWFUL.

I should have known on the first day I lived there that they were going to be an absolutely awful management company.

The house we signed a lease on was completely filthy and full of spider webs when we arrived in 90 degree weather with all of our belongings.

We spent over 8 hours cleaning the house from top to bottom and removing spiders and their webs.

I can understand a little cleaning when you move in somewhere at first, but this was out of hand and disgusting. It's like they did not even check it to make sure it was okay.

I rented from them for year, in that amount of time there were several maintenance issues that came up -many never being fixed.

The second floor sink leaked into my downstairs bathroom which took them FOREVER to come out and fix. When they did they left a gaping hole in my ceiling that they said "they'd be right back out to fix." +Sixth months later and it's still there.

Another maintenance issue? Becoming locked in my bathroom for nearly three hours because they did not come fix my faulty bathroom door knob that I had also called and requested for them to fix.

When the maintenance came to fix our furnace and water heater soon after I moved in they did not call and ask if it was okay to come over. Instead I came home to a man blasting his radio in my bathroom for a few hours before leaving without accomplishing anything.

Not to mention the flack I got from the secretaries for even bothering them with any of my maintenance issues.

All I received from the secretaries were dirty looks, eye rolling, and utter rudeness. They sit on their computers all day and seem to accomplish nothing.

Last time I went in it appeared that one of them was too busy playing Farmville (a computer game) to crack a smile and be helpful. I was unaware it was so much to ask for in a service.

Also, after my year lease was up, two of my roommates wished to stay behind in the house.

No worries right? Well Sedereson is hungry for your money and will play you dirty to get it.

My room mates did not qualify for the house without me so Sederson said that they would not be evicted but instead I would have to stay on my lease longer than a year and continue paying until they could qualify. Now what's wrong with this picture? If a year contract is up, it should be time to start a new one. Not use my name and good credit to keep their income from a property.

After calling the manager of the company and the owner I got several rude replies from both.

Also, an incredibly rude and rather furious voice mail from the owner. It in no way sounded professional and also I feel that he was trying to talk his way around the issue at hand.

Soon after I left, my former room mates did too. After living there nearly a year and a half with no maintenance being done they'd had enough.

Instead of being concerned on why my former room mates were unhappy with the company, Sederson charged them 100 dollars for leaving trash in the driveway on the move out.

Interesting isn't it?

I recommend not renting or buying through this Company. Worst customer service I've ever encountered.

The Best People to Rent From. I've rented two times with Sederson Management and I LOVE them.

The homes are well maintained and their maintenance staff are always respectful of my time and personal affects. They notify me in advance when they need to enter the property to perform routine tasks and, over the last five years, in the few times I've needed to contact them, they've kept the appointment and completed the repairs promptly.

The office staff are friendly and knowledgeable. If I call with a question, they either know the answer or make it a priority to provide me with one. The Management team have always had my best interest at heart and worked to accommodate me when special circumstances have arisen. I've never felt more at home with anyone else. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

GIVE THIS COMPANY A CHANCE!!!. I moved into a Sederson property in September and was VERY dissatisfied with the condition. I had been told repairs were being made and cleaning would be accomplished before I moved in. So much was left undone. NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS!!! I took a LOT of concerns to the management team - and invariably they addressed those concerns. The office staff is amazing - and can always be trusted to pass concerns along to the maintenance team. I have been told by my property manager, Davin, that employees are undergoing training about how to be more thorough in cleaning and making repairs. And if the service I have received is any indication, they are GETTING IT!!! I would recommend this company to a friend!!!!

Great Company!. I had a great experience with Sederson Management Co. We rented a cute little house in the Westport area, and they treated us very well. We had to be late with our rent a couple of times; we explained the situation, and they worked with us. The maintenence guys were right on top of things. We had to move to be closer to family, but we left the house clean, and we got our full deposit back.

The most unprofessional & rude mgmt. Sederson mgmt co is the worst I've ever seen. The female receptionist was very rude. She doesn't even bother to listen to you and starts talking before you finish trying to look busy. I didn't feel like a resident who pays ontime an is newly settled here. I've never seen such an unprofessional rude person on a professional post.

DONT DO IT! Get OUT!. Don't let the intitial office visit and freshly painted office fool you! Worst management co I have ever experienced. No people skills... ladies in office are rude. Once you sign your lease they leave you high and dry. Don't expect to feel welcomed. Don't expect service. Rude if you call with a maintenance request. Maintenance tracked dirt and mud in my house and didn't clean it up. As well as knocked over my pet water dish and didn't refill it. Will fix things the cheapest and least efficient way possible. If your house happens to get insects-too bad so sad-they will try to inform you that they don't spray houses for insects. What management company doesn't spray tenants homes if there is a insect problem? This one! Take your business elsewhere Sederson doesn't deserve it.

Be warned.. Rented a home from this company for one year. Very unprofessional company in all respects. Office receptionist was crass and rude. The maintenance staff entered my home on several occasions without consent. Maintenance entered my home on one occasion when I had them out to spray for noxious ivy, which was growing in the back yard.

Oddly enough, this home was burglarized about nine months into my year lease. Soone pried open a door and went straight for my guns (which were hidden). And that was all that was taken. Even the police, when writing up the report asked if I'd had a problem with maintenance snooping. Be warned, this company has a strange open door policy.

Statute # 58-2557; keep that one close with this outfit.
