Best Lattes in KC. I'm from the west coast, where we have more Starbucks than McDonalds. I was so happy to find this little coffee shop, they know what they're doing and it reminds me of home. They even know how to do latte art. Great Coffee with 'tude. I have nothing bad to say about the coffee at broadway. They really know what's going on in the way of roasting and extracting. Their atmosphere at their original store is ok, just a little uninviting. With just tables and chairs I have a hard time sitting and reading a book. They offer more merchandise than the average coffee shop that shows attention to detail. They know what cold press (or toddy) is, even though they didn't invent it, but they do offer the tools to make it at home. Their staff, while knowledgable, at times makes the customer feel inferior in the way that they choose to consume their own beverage. I still go, due to coffee quality and attention to detail, but I know how I lke my coffee and I know whether or not I want it for here or to go.…
