Highly recommend. I got my first tattoo 10 years ago at Illustrated Man and May 21, 2012 got my second one, there as well. Jack was very kind and understand since it was a memorial tattoo for my son. He was very gentle and did excellent work. If you are thinking of getting at tattoo...go to Illustrated Man. They are the best!

Great Custom Work. I had Stan at Illustrated Man Tattoo do a large custom piece on my ribs. Stan made an original drawing of my tattoo idea on the spot and he was very polite and professional and IT LOOKS GREAT !

Artistic and Professional. I had Stan re-work a dragon tattoo from 5 years ago. Stan is paramount in his profession. I am proud to wear his art on my arm and recommend him as a top notch artist in the Kansas City area.

They do AWESOME work!!!!!. I went today to get my second tattoo and I had a VERY pleasant experience...The guys there were VERY helpful in getting me "the right" tattoo and VERY professional as well.

Rhett put my tattoo on and what can I say he is the greatest...He did a XCELLENT job on my tat and I WILL be back.

Best tattoos in town. I took a concept into John Monk - an awesome tattoo artist - and he totally ran with it and created a piece that was way better than what I had originally brought in. They do High Quality work! I've had two done there and plan on going back for more. If you're looking for a good shop you can trust these guys.

piercings. i just got my nipples pierced by josh monk. he was very professenial and very nice i was nervus when i went in and he reasured me that it wasn't gonna hurt as bad as people say and really it didn't. it weas quit and some what painless. i also got my first tattoo there from jack and he was awsome very nice also and his work was amazing.

illustated man is awsome , john monk is the best in K.C.. THE ILLUSTRATED MAN is the best, im getting my whole arm done by john monk and he is the best tattoo guy in K.C. he drew all of it right on my arm and tattooed it. when people see it they are blown away. i would recomend him to anyone who wants a tattoo. he is also a very nice guy although he is really busy and most of the time booked up a couple of weeks in advance but for sure worth the wait. i wouldnt go anywhere else!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Illustrated Man. i had just got my first tattoo 3 days ago there and it was the best service, i had been recommended by a friends mom because she gets her tattos there and she wont go anywere else. i loved it there they were so nice they told me what they thought and i loved it ( they are the professionals). I highly recommend illustrated man and no where else. Their prices are totally worth it.

Worst ever.. Worst service I have ever come across. The man I spoke to was completely rude, and just sounded like he had somewhere else to be. Didn't care about anything I was asking, just shook it off. Then, hung up the phone.
