Great Onions, Super Thin Burgers. Town Topic. HOLY COW. Best burgers I've had. They're a larger tastier meatier version of a White Kastle or Krystal burger: ultra thin with grilled onions pressed in. We made the mistake of ordering singles with cheese and were left wanting many more burgers. There's not enough room to turn around in the restaurant, and even less room in the bathroom, but well worth the location and tight squeeze.

Best burger joint in KC. If you're just visiting KC, look this place up. If you live here, I'm sure you've already been here and loved it. Very fast service, I can't ever remember my order being wrong, and the food is fantastic. It's a bit of a drive from the Northland or people farther toward the outskirts of the KC Metro Area, but it's worth the trip.

Rated as best fast-food in Kansas City by it's own residents for more than 25 years.

thumbs up!. Town topic is a great late night eat. It's a little scary to go there at night. But the greasy burgers is the best! and cheap...

Cheeseburger perfection is the talk of the town at this small favorite.. In Short
Imagine, if you will, the ne plus ultra cheeseburger: thick and dripping with cheese, topped with grilled onions. That's the name of the game at Town Topic, a shoebox-sized KC institution where businessmen squeeze in next to construction workers at the counter during the lunch rush and orders are served up by efficient waitresses. If you're smell sensitive, stay away: the dominant scent here is grease with a note of nicotine.

Awesome. This place is great. The people in and out so fast are fun to watch. The burgers are the bomb with grilled onions. The shakes are great too! This is a great place to hang out!

Town Topic. I have been going to Town Topic for 26 years. My parents took me there on my way home fromm the hospital, so mama Shirley could see me. I have made a complete turnaround and now mama Shirley knows my son, and my son loves Town Topic.

best burger joint in town. This restaraunt has been one of my favorite places to eat since my dad took me there when I was a kid. If you want a good greasy burger, look no further than Town Topic.

Town Topic. I have wanted to go here for years & finally went! THE best place by far! First saw it on a KCP&L commercial, of all places!

You can keep your McDonald's, etc. Give ME this run-down, old-fashioned, diner-style WONDERFUL place ANYtime!

All I can say is YUMMMMMMMMMM!

We WILL be back!!!
