Worth the trip. Vince and Jon do a great job and are fun to talk to. Good barbers are getting harder and harder to find these days! Give these guys a try but be sure to make an appointment first.

Great Shop - Great People and Talent.
Great shop - been in business a long time.
Previous review that was negative is totally bogus.
Did the previous reviewer ever call back to possibly see if it was a phone problem? Or just jump to conclusions without any knowledgeable facts.
Interesting how one not so bright person could have the ability to leave a review.

Give this Barber Shop a try. You won't be unhappy..
I can understand how the previous poster could think that Vince, the owner of Gillis Barber Shop could be rude. When Vince answers the phone he kind of yells "BARBER SHOP" but he means nothing buy it. I have been going to this barbershop since I was about 7 and now I'm thirty.
When you walk into the shop its like a travel back in time. from the checkerboard floor to the barbers pole. it's great!
Vince has been in the business since he was a child in Italy, helping out his dad at his shop. If you get the chance stop in. Make sure you make an appointment first because he is very busy and has a lot of regular customers.
