Unusual attitude rules the day.
The first time I went 4 or 5 weeks ago it was pretty good. It was early on a Friday night and the 12 or so people there were enjoying themselves. I ordered the pizza and fruity drinks and it was excellent. The young cook told me it was the oven and the sauce that made it so good. The service by the nice blond tattoo script gal was good. The patrons seemed like good average working folks in for a pleasant time.
The second time I went in during a weeknight about two weeks ago there were about 10 people there. I wanted to sit at the bar but it was awkwardly situated with "50 something" rednecky worker guys. That normally is fine except for what happened. After I placed my order and sat with a beer, that blond bartender opened up on one of the classless patrons. A gray haired guy in somewhat tattered clothes had made several sexual inuendoes and she stopped him in his tracks. She vehemently said it was escalating and that she didn't have to take it and chewed him out. ( you go girl!)
He muttered a few little things and she walked away. The frogfaced patron then raised his fist to the other 40 something gutter worker and they pounded fists in some imagined sexual triumph. Can anybody say TRASH? I didn't drink the beer, got my tasty pizza, overtipped and left.
Today was the third time I went. A somewhat heavy set middle aged brunnette was working behind the bar. I couldn't really tell what she looked like because she never faced me or even looked at me. She had a couple female friends sitting at the bar and her back was to me the entire time.
She used a tough voice to tell a couple of stories to her friends about her amazing reactions in a couple dicey situations. She embelished her stories by using the "F" word about 10 times. I guess I'm thankful she didn't show me her face.
She gruffly took my order and went into the kitchen to perhaps cook it herself I don't know. When she came out I waved my arm and finally was able to order a drink of vodka, orange juice and medori. It looked good.
As I waited for the pizza, a bizzare customer interaction occurred. A 40ish man at the bar in a muscle shirt with a little goatee was hooting and describing his taste in men to other customers that were clearly straight. He even loudly spoke about some pretty graphic stuff! At first I wondered if he was trying to pick a fight with these other warehouse worker guys. He was telling them how cute they were and how he wouldn't mind going home with them. I was sooo embarressed for him.
He obviously was a lost soul trying to redeem himself with confused and lonely confrontational feigned gayish diatribe.
I couldn't touch the drink and left. I by no means overtipped. As I now enjoy eating the pizza I must say it is really good!
You never know what to expect at the Caddy ShacK!

I returned for a pizza on 8/25/10 and the crowd was fine and I waited on the patio for the pie. I paid and left and tried to eat the thing at home. The sauce and meats were okay but the crust was like matzalon crackers! An 1/8" of an inch thick cracker!!
To top it off, this time they had cut the thing into small squares instead of slices!
