Great for a date!. Wonderful food and a great asmosphere. Very cozy setting, and an extensive wine list. This would be a great place to take someone special.

Very flavorable. I love this place! It is so unpretentious, but the food is fabulous!!! There are so many things to choose from. I was overwhelmed at first, but the kind and friendly server explained everything in great detail. She even told me which items we're smaller or larger depending on our appetite. I had the steak, I was hungry!, but the portion even blew me away. It was one of the best steaks, no the best steak, I ever had!! I also had a very nice, but modestly priced bottle of wine, the cute and professional manager recommended. On my first visit I felt like one of the family, I will definately go back, I can't wait to try more!!!

The best hands down in KC!!. The Le Fou Frog is the best restaurant in KC. If you are spending a relaxing evening with friends at their wonderful Happy Hour to a special night with someone you love, their wonderful staff will make it a night to remember.

fun, friendly atmosphere, excellent food. I DEFINITELY recommend visiting Le Fou Frog. I visited the restaurant on a very busy night, but the service was still amazing and the waiters and hosts were friendly. It's impossible not to have a good time in this restaurant. The atmosphere is friendly, warm and inviting, and the food was spectacular. A++

Fantastic Dining Experience. This is a great dining experience!! This was our first (definately not our last) visit to Le Fou Frog. The service was great. The owners came around and asked if we had any questions about the menu, which we did, and they were tremendously helpful and friendly. We had John Dory and Ahi Tuna (they have steaks also) both meals were fantastic. Great Wine List. You won't be disappointed!!

Best Place in Kansas City. Le Fou Frog is always an EXPERIENCE! The food is so incredible that you savor each bite. The portions are extremely generous, but I always manage to each every bit of whatever I've ordered. The chef is truly a master! The service is fantasic. They always make you feel like you are the most important person who comes to the restaurant. This place is truly the most exceptional restaurant in town.

excellent!!!!. I have dined at alot of restaurants in the country and the KC area including the plaza.Le Fou Frog is definately one of the best restaurants I have dined and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend you try this place.

Awesome. Just want to update my review I have been to the Frog many times now. I have not had a bad meal yet. The steak is still the best in KC! The French onion suop is to die for. THe Frog reminds of the Bistro's in France. If you have a special night plan include this place in them. Th ewine list is great and I would never bring an outside wine into anyones restaurant. Go down to the Frog and have great night. The service is great they treat everyone like a VIP!

This French bistro offers a menu of contemporary twists on authentic cuisine.. The Scene
Sporting a bistro ambience, the Frog is funky, bedecked with paintings, French prints and knickknacks. The charmer is the small dining room, cozy for a date; the table is the right size to lean over candle light.

The Food
The menu, while extensive, changes daily: Check the chalkboard menus. Entrees include Ahi tuna on pasta in a beet and ginger oil sauce, quail in a bed of herbed wild rice, red snapper with porcini mushrooms and asparagus. Complete the experience with frozen chocolate mousse or profiteroles (pastry filled with vanilla ice cream, topped with chocolate).
