Worst Servers In The World. For starters, you guys might want to actually train your servers. First of all we were ignored for over 20 minutes by our server. We finally got a different server who tried to steal my sisters money. She showed up with two $20's and a $10, and the server took a $20, and came back with change for a $5. She basically accosted my sister and mother in front of a large group of people accusing her of lying. "I know you gave me a $5!". Really? She didn't even have a $5 bill on her when she showed up!!!! Then the server who ignored us the entire time, suddenly claimed he could see and said he could have sworn that he saw her give a $5. After trying to cover their tracks, she finally agreed that she had given her a $20. On top of being treated like second class thieves, the food was horrible.

If you want to have your money stolen, be ignored, and eat crappy food, then come on down to Winslow's BBQ!

*Not* A Place To Jam. Winslow's is your best bet for dining out, drinking, and catching a Sunday Chiefs' game. If you're an aspiring musician coming in for their jam sessions, and you're NOT one of the house band's family or friends, take your time and efforts elsewhere. I waited an hour and got my guitar drowned out during two songs, then got yanked despite a great audience response. Great eats, great beer...LOUSY place to jam!!!

nothing special. If you like a good spicy sauce, you'll want to pass on this place. The food was decent, but without a quality sauce to go with it I can't say I'll go back anytime soon. The staff was friendly and the place was clean, so not a bad experience.

great food bad atmosphere. the barbeque and staff are equally wonderful. the atmosphere left something to be desired though. im a smoker, but when i eat i hate the smell of smoke. it has very dim lighting, smoke smell, and sometimes an odd smell coming out of it. i love the barbeque they offer. i think its some of the best in kc, but i recommend getting a to go order.

Great Smoked Food. Winslow's is my favorite stop in K.C. for smoked ribs & wings. The best time to getthere is for lunch because they don't stay open very late. The ribs aresmoked perfect and meaty the beans are okay. The smoked wings are great also.

Beats Any BBQ Outside KC. I never thought any KC BBQ joint would "oversmoke their meats til I tried Winslow's.

Our beef brisket was a bit over-smoked and got in the way of tasting the beef itself. Brisket itself was good quality - a bit reminiscent of Arthur Bryants and also of Gates too. Beans were same way too. Fries were good compliment though and overall ambiance was good. It makes for an average KC BBQ joint in my opinion. Of course, remember, the worst KC BBQ joint still beats anything else in the USA! Ya hear that Memphis? <grin>
