50th Anniversary Party The Bay Room. Reserved the Bay Room for a party size 14 three months ahead of time for parents 50th Anniversary Party. Owner agreed to have two children with the party and offered to make a special meal for them. Seemed customer focused. One month before the party-Refused children to come to the Bay Room, and denied his invitation to make a special meal for the children. The owner was extremely NOT CUSTOMER FOCUSED! I felt the owner thought my group should meet his standards.. He changed his mind after his committment-and RUINED the 50th Anniversary Party!!! I would NEVER RETURN ..would you want such poor customer service? We were going to spend around $2,000 dollars-we were not important-WOW! The owner even shared with me that he had a child in the Bay room after he told my other family member no children were allowed. He contradicted himself over and over!

wonderful. my husband asked me to marry him here. It was so wonderful. Jack the co-owner thanked us for choosing his restaurant and we received a complimentary glass of champaigne. we sat outside on the docks after our meal and watched the sun set over the water. I couldn't ask for a better proposal.

Perfection!!!. Three of us ate lakeside one a beautiful late summer night. None of us had seafood, but the prime rib, filet mignon, and chicken pasta all gained great reviews. Great service too!

The Best. This is by far the best place in Kansas City to get steak and seafood. The jumbo shrimp give new meaning to the word "jumbo." The atmosphere is incredible as well. You can sit inside or out and either way have a beautiful view of the lake. Inside are several aquariums full of beautiful marine life as well. Get a reservation to avoid a wait. Dress is "dress casual," slacks and polos are acceptable. What a great meal!
