This place is absolutely deserted, except for the few that live there. It is almost like a ghost town. It is so sad. I would love to get in touch with the owners. The phone number on this page isn't accurate. It looks like it used to be a blast to go to.

Holiday Lake's Camping Resort. Place USED to be great place to take family but not anymore. There has been bulletts shot into mobile homes, thefts of golf carts, small hauling trailer,and also on or about August 1st, 2011 a 40 foot Heritage Park Mobile home and all of its contents stolen from the campgrounds!!!!! The thieves also stole everything out of both sheds on property. Even though there's only 1 way in & out of place there obviously is no security (even though there are security gates, they don't work because the electricity has been shut off to them). All of which has been reported (PLEASE CHECK with the Lafeyette Sheriffs Department they can confirm that this isn't a lie --everything mentioned here is FACT and they are very acquainted with this campground !!!) Not safe for families to go there & enjoy anymore. Just as "nodeal" said the place is run down, swimming pool green & nasty and in addition to all that you have the thefts & shootings. This is really no place for anyone to go. It doesn't even deserve a star anymore.

Nothing there. Well another year gone buy. Shelly sued by State but didn't pay the fine so the property owners are left out in the cold. Can't even use our sewers now. DNR will fine us if we attach to the sewer. Hopefully any people out there looking on the internet will read these and don't assume there is camping there anymore.

OUR FAMILY GET AWAY!!!. I HAVE BEEN GOING HERE SENSE I WAS 16 NOW 31. I LOVE THE THREE DIFFRENT LAKES TO FISH FROM & THE POOL WITH THE AWESOME SLIDE. MY DAUGHTERS HAVE SO MUCH FUN THERE ALL THEIR FRIENDS FROM SCHOOL TO PEOPLE WE MEET KNOW JUST HOW MUCH!! I FEEL THAT ONE OF THEIR BEST MEMORIES WILL BE OUT IN THE BOAT WHEN WE FOUND A TURTTLE ON THE BANK. HOW EVER IT COULD BE AT THE SPILLWAY WHERE THEY CATCH LIL FISH & CRAWDADS. EITHER WAY WE ALL HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE SOME TIME MAKE ING YOUR OWN MEMORIES!!!!!

If you have a family that loves to swim and or fish.... come out ! Campground with full hookups!!!

THE WORST PLACE WE HAVE EVER SEEN. THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE WORST RESORT I HAVE EVER SEEN THE SEWAGE IS RUNNING IN ALL THE LAKES AND LAST YEAR DURING THE 4TH OF JULY THE WHOLE CAMP GROUND SMELLED OF SEWAGE THE WHOLE PARK IS RUN DOWN AND YOU CAN NOT DRIVE DOWN HARDLY ANY OF THE ROADS. I WOULD RATE IT SEVERAL MARKS BELOW THE FIRST STAR
