A GREAT RESTAURANT AND SERVICE. WE CELEBRATED A SPECIAL EVENT AT V'S LAST EVENING. THE ATMOSPHERE IS WARM AND FRIENDLY,EXCELLENT SERVICE , THE FOOD WAS AMAZING,AND GREAT DRINKS. THEY GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE TAKEN CARE OF. THE GROUP WANTS US TO GO THERE GO TO V'S WHEN WE SCHEDULE OUR NEXT EVENT.

User review by cuquetm. I had high hopes after reading the other reviews, so I went and tried it out. I am new to the area, so I am trying different restaurants... I lived in Italy for a few years, so I may be a little more critical than most customers. I thought the food was blah. The waiter and staff were very nice, but the food was not so good.

Founded by the Totta family, this bistro's roots stretch back to 1963. But what began as a small cafe still retains some old-world charm. Well tended grape vines can be viewed from the interior Vista Vite room, for example. Dine in the garden patio by the artistic stone waterfall for a relaxing mood. The menu is broad, featuring pasta, pizza, chicken and veal entrees, though the lasagna and mostaccioli are highly touted and popular. For dessert, indulge in "chocolate suicide," a creamy, alluring triple-layer cake topped with a wedge of semi-sweet chocolate.

Mama Mia!!!!. I love V's. It has been a longtime favorite with my family. My rehearsal dinner was held there and we celebrated my parent's 50th anniversary there as well. The atmosphere is romantic and the food is phenomenal. My personal recommendations is the linguine with clam sauce. They could not make bad food if they tried The service is excellent. You can't find a better Italian restaurant in Kansas City. I have recommended to clients and co-workers.
