Traditional dishes and all -you-can-eat salad, soup and bread sticks are the draw at this upscale-casual Italian restaurant..
In Short
Established in 1982, this chain gained a following for its laid-back atmosphere and generous portions. Patrons settle into comfortable booths and tables in dining rooms with plants, artwork and décor reminiscient of the villas in the Tuscan countryside. Starters include scampi, sausage or pepperoni pizza, and several soup choices, as well as a signature seafood dip (crab, shrimp, cheese and marinara). Entrees include classics like lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo and chicken parmigiana. There are also "Garden Fare" options, which promise 30 percent fewer calories.

Olive who.
Not bad for standard fare. Waiters and staff very professional if a bit standoffish. Food was good and reasonable in price. Had to keep asking for more bread, more soup, salad, etc. since some had the soup and salad combo.
Service was mediocre, and the waitress seemed like she could not wait to get a good night's sleep.
Not as impressed as I have been with different locations of Olive Gardens...this one in Olathe is so
so

oh please.
Im offended by the fact people actually think that the Olive Garden is real Italian food!!! Their food sucks, and so does the ambience of the resturant, if I wanted stale breadsticks and a ragu type sauce I would stay and eat in my dorm room, so to a real Italian resturant like Johnny C's in Overland Park...real Italian food and its atleast really good and not really stale!

You must be joking..
Barely above the level of fast-food Italian, even the breadsticks are bad.

This place doesnt even qualify as Italian food. The food is low quality and I rank the service the worst in town.

Mediocre at Best.
This chain has uninspiring, uninventive Italian cuisine that is only a step above pasta sauce from a jar. It may be a suitable choice for a family with young children or a quick, casual dinner, but does not compare to real Italian cooking (Garrozzo's or Lidia's, for example).

absolutely the worst food ever.
This restaurant is like comparing a McDonalds hamburger to a Chili's hamburger. There is simply no comparison, in taste, service or presentation. The Olive Garden is absolutely the worst italian food ever, and its not even cheap.
