Wonderful homemade food!. Country Keepsakes is one of my favorite places to eat in the KC Metro. I've taken friends and family and everyone has loved it. They kind of do themselves a disservice by calling themselves a tearoom which makes you think of doilies and lots of pink everywhere. Much more lowkey and 'neutral' than that; guys can go and be perfectly comfortable.

Homemade pumpkin apple muffins to start every meal then they have a menu that changes weekly with sandwiches, quiche, casseroles, homemade classics all served with fresh baked bread. The soups are homemade and I order them whenever I go regardless of the weather (yes, 95 degrees outside and I'm eating soup!). They offer a 1/2 dozen homemade desserts each day pies, cakes, cobblers, whatever your sugar loving heart could desire.

If you have a big eater in the family, they can try a dozen different entries, salads, sides and deserts at one sitting. Best buffet in KC bar none!
