Good price; different from the chains

My husband and I enjoyed our stay there two years ago on our way to Iowa. It was clean and had everything we needed. It is old and has been renovated in a less than professional manner, making it a bit unusual, but fine, nevertheless. There were unusual cowboy and cowgirl pictures actually painted on the walls. Rather humorous.
This is not your luxurious weekend get-away, but it was clean, and the owners -- naturally from India, were accommodating and eager to please.
We had a good stay.
- Pros: Unique, not far from KC and big city things to do. Clean.
- Cons: Old. Repairs rather home-done. Unusual furnishings, though OK.
