best ribs anywhere.
We've eaten at both of the renowned Kansas City barbecues (Bryants, Gates). They don't hold a candle to Bates City Barbecue. As luck would have it, we live only a few miles from the place.

Best BBQ ever.
It gets better every time I go. This is by far the best barbeque I've ever eaten. This is a dining experience you will greatly enjoy. Warning, the atmosphere is not that of a fine diner, but of a greasy spoon.

GOOD EVERYTHING.
NICE people, GREAT SLAW< GREAT FRIES AND BEANS>>>>>GREAT BBQ TOO
The BEST place to eat on I-70 between St. Louis and KC.
Where do we take international visitors to eat? BATES CITY BBQ
Tables fill with whole families of 3 to 4 generations. These farm families living nearby know where to eat. So do the truck drives who travel a half mile off I-70
to get there.
Only drawback....no beer. But that's OK.....It's a REAL family environment.
