Truly, customer service the way it is supposed to be.. This establishment has made bridal shopping a pleasant task. Not only do the most beautiful gowns exist here, but the type of service that we only see in movies, and those are the old ones. Miss Laura does everything that she would expect as a customer herself and you will not find a more knowledgeable, intellegent, quick woman on this planet that can outdo her in this field. If you want the best absolute service, and know that the gown you are considering will be perfect, then you should go nowhere else. This is truly what couture means. This establishment is all about refined taste, manners, eloquence and providing the bride with all the accoutrements from invitations, at-home cards, announcements, personal stationery and even shoes. You need not look any further.

Best dresses in town. I got my dream dress at Laura's and it was absolutely amazing!!! They are wonderful to work with. So nice and personable, I would not shop anywhere else!!! They have the best dresses in town, trust me I looked!

I had a fabulous experience with Laura and the rest of her staff. I was married in July 2007. From the first appointment, they worked with me closely, were in regular contact to update me whenever they heard something about my dress or my bridesmaid dresses - overall great customer service! Although it was a little frustrating to need so many fittings to get the bust to fit correctly, it was perfect in the end (and that's somewhat expected given I lost quite a bit of weight between ordering the dress and the big day).

I, too, was asked to go out and show the dresses to Laura; however, I did not find it uncomfortable at all. I tried on a couple of dresses that didn't work at all, so I never left the dressing room in those particular dresses. I found that having family/friends sit in the lobby while the bride changes in the dressing room and comes out to show everyone is the norm at bridal boutiques.

As for Laura picking a style for me, I explained what we were thinking about for flowers and general decor for the wedding and she picked several dresses that I wouldn't have selected in a million years. When she brought in this beautiful, simple, Vera Wang (I had my heart set on a very feminine, lace look), I put it on and was immediately in tears. She did a great job listening to what my vision was for the wedding and helped me select a gown and veil that pulled everything together.

I would highly recommend brides make an appointment here if they are looking for an elegant gown and service that far surpasses the "other" high-end bridal boutique in Kansas City.

FOUND MY DRESS. I had a great experience!! I really felt like I was taken care of and that my wedding was important and I wasn't just another bride coming in the door to try on dresses. I had plenty of time to try on dresses and dresses were pulled that I described to try on. I found my dress here too; so that makes my experience even better!

elegant, sophisticated, beautiful. If you are looking for an elegant, sophisticated, beautiful, no-nonsense gown Laura's is for you. I'm a 35+ woman w/ curves and was terrified! Laura came in early for me and I was blown away by everything! She is welcoming, attentive, thorough, positive, honest, and unbelievably kind; not to mention she's a genious fashionista! PLEASE visit Laura!
