Plaza West Massage & Day Spa. Plaza West Massage and Day Spa is just west of the Plaza. Easy to get to and relaxing to the max! I have been there several times for the Bio-Rejuvenation treatment and found the staff helpful, the service delightful and thorough, the building charming, in fact, the whole experience everything I had hoped for and more. I puzzle at the odd bad review. How can our experiences be so different?

I can only speak to the services I received and they have always been top notch.

Go there and be pampered. You deserve it!

An Oasis of Beautiful Relaxation near the Plaza. I've been going to Plaza West since 2008 and have never had a bad experience yet. When you step into the facility (which is in renovated older building), it's like you are leaving the hypercompetitive rat race behind and stepping into a charming relaxing beach house. Island touches are everywhere in the decor from fresh flowers to beach portraits on the wall. The staff is friendly and open and makes you feel welcome. Their massages are excellent and they are very flexible with scheduling. The massage therapists are very respectful and responsive to requests such as more or less pressure, etc. Contrary to some other reviews, I have never found the place to be dirty and I have been there several different times. The building is older and has historic character, but that is not the same thing as being dirty. I have used several of their services, including massages (w/ and w/out aromatherapy and hot stone treatment), salt glow body scrubs, the sauna, and even their delicious spa lunch - it was gorgeous poached salmon with fresh greens, and it was soooo good! Served with iced tea - yum! I felt like I had been transported to Hawaii, yet I was right in the middle of Kansas City in the middle of winter! And my skin has never looked better. It almost glowed and felt very soft and healthy after the body scrub. In short, if you are looking for a shiny but soulless medical spa where you feel like a patient in a hospital, you should probably look elsewhere. But if you are wanting to relax and be pampered with wonderful massages, friendly and excellent customer service, and a warm island atmosphere, Plaza West is the best!

NEVER GET A FACIAL HERE!!!. I can't speak for the other services, but I received the WORST facial here. I had relatively clear skin going in, with blackheads in concentrated areas. After an hour of painful extractions (I've had extractions before, these hurt) and listening to her ex-boyfriend stories, I had visible fingernail marks all over my face and broke out horribly. I understand breaking out is normal, but this lasted for two weeks and my skin has still not been as clear as when I went in. My roommate thought I had the chicken pox.

Save your money and your skin.

Yikes!. There are bad business all over, but this one takes the cake! No parking, dirty, rude staff. Please never go there. There are plenty of other spas in Kansas City.

still the best. I've reviewed this business once already, and I'm just as happy with the services as I was the first time. I've been a regular customer and it just keeps getting better!

best day spa. I've been getting massages and facials for years locally and world wide due to travel.

I would rate Plaza West Massage & Day Spa as one of the best ever!
