Quiet atomosphere, great service and food. We've eaten here both on the fly and relaxed. The food is phenomenal and the service unparalleled. Creative menu items, excellent wine list (and the servers are well-educated in wine recommendations), peaceful and cozy ambience. I go here whenever I can. Also check out the desserts - these people know what they're doing!

A hidden gem just off the Plaza. What a gem! I had to read a review in Midwest Air inflight magazine to read about it. The menu sounded a bit daunting but the actual presentation was very straightforward and the food was delicious. Friendly and helpful staff with an excellent wine list. Great bar and bar menu if you are not hungry enough for a full meal but want to enjoy world class food in a casual yet elegant atmosphere.

Superb Food, Excellent Service, Intimate Settings.. We are self proclaimed food snobs and it takes a lot for me to give high recommendations, but Bluestem is a winner. The lounge area is simple and upscale, mildly trendy, but not in a bad way. We recieved excellent service and the lounge food & drink menu's are awesome by themselves, but there is still an exquisite experience through the walkway to the fine dining room. From small meals up to chef selected multi course meals with wine parings, you won't be upset and should never go home without boasting all the way there how ridiculously spectacular your food and experience was.

Best Fine Dining in KC. Bluestem is my favorite place in KC. The food is just fantastic. I have been there several times and don't have a bad thing to say. The menu is creative and changes seasonally. They have a great wine list. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. Make sure you save room for dessert, you don't want to miss out! The room is cozy and beautifully decorated. I would recommend dining here for a special occasion since it is not inexpensive, however you will find it is worth every penny.
