ZERO RESULTS. Buyer Beware. Similar to other comments below, I also purchased a Groupon for 8 laser hair removal treatments. Beyond the services received via the Groupon, I also purchased an additional $150 worth of add-on services. As noted below, I was handed a $30 cream (which I thought was part of the package, but then charged for it later!) that was completely unnecessary and could have been purchased online for less than $15.

Despite my initial suspicions, I attended my appointments faithfully for well over a year, and saw ZERO results during or after the process. They assured me along the way the results would show up after my next treatment, which unfortunately never happened. Because I experienced very little pain/discomfort during the procedure, have this feeling the machines were consistently used at a low setting (versus increasing each session) or the appointments spaced out in such a way that hair loss/thinning would never result. I should also note that I am considered to be the perfect candidate for laser hair removal, with dark hair and fair skin.

My e-mails to the owner and/or manager (Erica) explaining my disappointment at the results were never returned, and I believe this was a rip-off designed to keep people coming in for multiple/costly "touch-up" services (because the original package was inadequate).

Beyond the lack of results, getting an appointment was a constant struggle, and I never had the same technician more than twice, leading me to believe there is high staff turnover. Several technicians commented they were overworked due the overwhelming Groupon response!

Whether with a Groupon or not, I would NOT waste your money at Spa Catalina. What a time-sucking, expensive disappointment.

don't do it. After being told I was a prime canidate, paying a significant amount of $, and having 8 treatments... I have seen little to NO results. I have brought it to the attention of the techs doing my treatments AND to Erica Munoz NUMEROUS times and have gotten brushed off every time. Still waiting for a call back....

Wow are you kidding me?. I cannot believe they are running this groupon AGAIN! What a horrible experience. It took me months to even get in for the consultation and so far my treatments have been a joke. I have not seen ANY change in the underarms and so far everytime i ask about this I just get brushed off. I would not recommend them to anyone.
