Lee's Summit's WORST bar – I went in the other night and left my expensive coat in there, I was the last one to leave the bar. Only 2 people working. The next day I called and asked if they had it and the girl wouldnt look for it. She said they didnt have it, which means an employee took it. Then she started yelling at me and said no one here took you sh*t. She actually cursed at me when I never raised my voice. So I asked to speak to her manager and she hung up on me. Then I talked to the manager and asked her name so i could report her to the owner, then he laughed at me. Are you serious? I have never been treated so badly in my life. WORST service ever!!!!!!!

Nothing Great. Prices too high. pretty poor place for sports. – There are other places in the area with food just as good. Prices way too high for both food and drink. Too loud to just hang with friends, too lame to cut loose. Music too loud for not having a dance floor. Too many KU fans for being in Missouri. And Soccer?? Otherwise, Just a bunch of loud, spoiled, clueless, immature kids trying to get some split tail.

Great Food- Great Service!!! – We recently went to the Peanut in Lee's Summit for the first time since the new owners took over last September. The food was better than it's ever been!! Our food suggestions are the wings & the BLT. The service was great!! We went to the bar at first and had immediate service and then sat at a table by the bar and our waitress was excellent. They had remolded the bathrooms since we had been there last and they looked very nice and clean. We have no complaints at all!!! The atmosphere was great as always. They had a live band there playing really good music!!! They've done a great job with the place. From what our waitress said, they have good bands and dj's playing there a lot now!! You should check it out!!! We had a great time~

Rude service, – Unless you are a blond in your early 20's with DD's. Plan on waiting all night for a drink. Was at the bar with money in hand trying to buy a drink and the bartenders refused to make eye contact and just kept "entertaining" the group of drunken bimbos at the other end of the bar. Had to finally ask a waitress as she walked by for a beer even though we were sitting at the bar. When we finally got your beer the bartender acted a little put out and upset that we asked the waitress. Then it took like 15 minutes to get our change. When I asked him about your change, he said, ? Oh, You wanted your change?? I guess he felt that a 60 percent tip was justified for his superior service. I don?t think so.

Dishonest Bartenders – I have a big problem with the Lee?s Summit Peanut. Reading these post just make me made all over again. The BLT is great. But I?ll never go back the way the bartenders treat people. I got the BLT and the bartender asked if I want fries, without thinking I said yes. Then I got the bill and he charged me for a basket of fries. When I pointed that out, he said that all sandwiches comes with chips, fries are extra. I said yeah but for $3.00. He said that how much fries cost. Then I said, well where are my chips then and he said, you substituted then for fries. I told him if you were going to charge me for a BASKET of fries I should have gotten a Basket! Instead I got what would consisted of a McDonald?s Happy Meal size fries. Yet I paid for a whole basket. And I didn?t get the chips. I was lucky though; my cousin fell for the same trick, but he got onion rings. He paid even more and only got 4 or 5 rings. That?s like 70 to 80 cents a ring. We went round and round with the guy, but he wasn?t going to budge. So if you go there, just be careful. They will try to rip you off. We ended up paying almost $12.00 for a BLT. Like I said it was pretty good, but not for almost $8.00. ***By the way, another important note. They do have what appear to be homemade chips on the menu. BUT that is not what you get when you order a sandwich. You get a small Grab Bag of Plain Lay?s Potato Chips. Be very careful of that trick too. Not All Peanuts are the same. The one in Shawnee Mission has great service and the owner is a really nice guy. Lee?s Summit is just horrible. Go someplace else.
