Amazing Teriyaki. Much better than Sarku's in the OP Mall..
So, I have driven past this place a million and one times before trying it. The place just doesn't stick out that much. To top it off, I have been going to Sarku's in the OP Mall for my cheap and healthy fast food fix and never had any complaints.
That has changed. I go to Maui Express exclusively for my fix now. The food is great. The portions are generous and priced cheaply.
The menu is basic. You choose a meat (chicken, steak, or shrimp) and rice (white or brown) or noodles. They all come with steamed, thinly sliced carrots and zucchini. This place has some of the healthiest, tastiest, cheapest, fast food in the area.
This is one of those places built on a single dish done right. The owner is a friendly guy and cares about his place. It is always clean and I've never had to wait long for my food.
